lisa lalisa their rookie songs definitely went under the radar and were flops. Even though I adore Be Natural and Automatic, SM gave these to them too early to really break into the market. But now that they’re more comfortable in their sound and career, SM needs to wake tf and push this RnB sound to the international audience. If SM wants to crack the US so bad (which they do, look at Sperm), RV’s velvet songs would do the trick. I dont mean go all out, but start small by idk, actually letting them sing the international faves’ songs to their international audience?? The fact Kingdom Come wasn’t on the setlist for Redmare was a true travesty, and reveluvs would’ve been so hyped for that. Here’s hoping for a Velvet finale!!

@@CeCe1066 sure, the third album is gonna be velvet and i hope its real velvet with super high quality sound like automatic, kingdome come, etc. Not that bad boy with the less effort just because its repackage. I think if SM give them songs like sassy me or so good as velvet title track, it will be huge hit. Also from what i know, The CEO of Universal Music Group personally asked SM to form an "ace" groups to extend their SMP genre (SM Music Performance) in the US. SMP is like super complicated songs like wolf, superhuman, zimzalabim which they ussualy have several genres and bunch of samples in the song. Thats why they signed a contract for 1 year for superM. If they want western validation thing, i think they can easily go with simple edm or basic rnb songs but they dont

A lot of people are short sighted, they view the RV video clips and can't handle the weird different flavor that RV brings. Because of this they don't dive any further into the rabbit hole to fully experience and appreciate the true euphoria that Red Velvets artistry brings. Not really.. RV is literally being known as the queen of b-sides by Korean public.. RV and MAMAMOO have the best-selling b-sides among 3rd generation gg.. In 2017, RV topped the list of best selling gg album digitally with a freaking mini album The Red Summer.. TRS defeated all other gg's full albums.. Plus, TPRV was chosen as the best gg album last year by KMA panel judges..

I have a story to tell (dont have to read this 😂) As I was about to enter the world of KPop, Red Velvet was the first group I checked because my fav Hollywood actress really like Red Velvet especially Joy and she said on her IG live that she saw the recent M/V and she was impressed. As a fan I got annoyed 'cause I can't keep up to the topic of the live so I searched them up. The first video I watched is the comeback, Really Bad Boy and honestly the song was catchy and I enjoyed it. As I was reading the comment section I got disappointed and diacourage because they were making jokes about this one and the other song before; Bad Boy, there I lost it I thought that the whole group is an entire joke so I stop there. And now I regretted it, I've come across blackpink and twice but red velvet is something else. I fell inlove with BLACKPINK and TWICE first because of their visuals but for Red Velvet I fell inlove with their songs, and I think it's the best foundation to stan them forever and never be disappoint no matter what challenges, rumors or scandals they'll face. I just want to say I love you Red Velvet, uri Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy and Yeri. I am a luvie and that fandom is ours only.

@@Sajirah well rbb never even intended to be a sequel of bad boy, it has a unique charm of its own. i feel like rbb is wayy suiting for a title track, it has the hype and all which is perfect for a title track. this song is insanely good too tho. but again, when are red velvet songs not good?

Irene's Holy Visual I like RBB but it definitely sounds closer in style to Rookie or Cookie Jar. It's more fun and upbeat whereas Bad Boy and So Good are more silky and laid back. They're both great songs, but in very different ways. But I mean, like you said, they're Red Velvet songs so that's just sort of a given. ;)
