I followed your tutorial to learn and now I'm making a more complex cape that has a shield on top, so I have to avoid the cape from clipping through it. Wish me luck!

Idk if this is just the updated version, but the heirarchy makes it so that when i shift D the original armature, it doesnt become a bone of one armature, instead a new armature in collection

You have to be in edit mode and select the bone

How do i do the same if i have more cubes. Im using a high detailed backpack model and im trying to see if i can make physics for it.

Either add multiple armatures and apply SmartBone to each of them, or connect the cubes in Blender so everything is a single object

Having weight there means that this part is going to be affected by bone movement, which means that while being simulated, it's going to move too and that part of the cape shouldn't be moving because it'd give a bad effect.

How can we stiffen individual bones using the Stiffen attribute? I tried putting that on some bones with Stiffness of 1, but it didn't seem to have any effect

You can only do that in SmartBone 2

Your cape is anchored, or one of the body parts in the starter character

Tbh I'm not sure. You can try using a different version, but I'd also recommend checking the Devforum to see if anyone had a similar issue

You can't, the only possibility is if the part had a bone, since you can attach bones to each other

The top of the cape is moving too much compared to the end of the cape, is there a way to fix it ? (The physic feels weird)

My tutorial explains and visualizes how to make a cape model, so you could give it a try. If you're unable to because your skills or knowledge don't meet the requirements to make it, then I recommend following a different tutorial.

Try setting a simple skinned object and apply SmartBone to it, if everything works then you did something wrong while making the cape, if not then there's an issue with the SmartBone setup
