In this video, I'm going to show you how to create dynamic pages on your Wix website, which will help you break the 100 page limit and give you unlimited pages! Plus, it will improve your SEO (search engine optimization) as well.
Dynamic pages are a powerful feature on Wix that allow you to create new pages automatically based on a template you create. This means you can create a page once and have it automatically generate new pages based on data from a collection.
Setting the dynamic page URL is an important step in the process, as it determines the structure of the new pages that will be generated. You can customize the URL to include variables from your data collection, which will create unique URLs for each dynamic page. This is not only great for SEO but also makes it easier for users to find the content they're looking for.
By using dynamic pages, you can have an unlimited number of pages on your website without worrying about hitting Wix's page limit. Plus, because these pages are generated dynamically, they will have unique URLs and content, which is great for SEO.

Your vid is easy to follow and so helpful for someone like me that has absolutly no experience or knowledge in creating a Wix site...i do have a question i'm hoping that you can help me with? I have created my dymaic pages and on my equivilent to your "Item Page" i would like to remove/delete the drop down menu in the upper right where you can select from the various items (this feature isn't relevant to my site)...is that possible?

Happy to hear! The drop-down menu you are referring to only appears in preview mode. Once you publish your site it will disappear from the live site.

Hi! Thank you for the valuable information you've shared on your channel! I'm wondering if i could pick your brain? I have a form page that I'd like to make dynamic, allowing multiple pages to look the same without duplicating them. Each customer should have their own dynamic page to upload a photo and fill out the form, and each page must have a special URL. I've managed to implement this successfully with code and data sets, so the uploading and saving of photo is not a problem. However, due to Wix's 100-page limit.I believe dynamic pages are a better solution. The challenge I'm facing is generating different URLs for each dynamic page, as they seem to change dynamically. I'm unsure if dynamic pages are the right approach or if you have any alternative suggestions. Your insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your incredible content and support.

Hi! The url of a dynamic page is determined by one of the fields that you choose. If you set the value of that field to something unique for each item you will have different urls.

How do you add the loaded gallery on collections onto the dynamic items?

Galleries can be connected to a media gallery field in the collection

WiX collections allow you to store thousands of records/items. There may be a hard limit in the tens of thousands but I don't recall exactly.

For that you would need to use Wix routers.

I don't think there is a way to do it without customizing it. As in adding a repeater to the header.

I'm not sure what you mean by an IP address for the collection. When utilizing dynamic pages you are limited only by the CMS storage limits for collections and items.

dynamic pages are actually slower than proper pages for the SEO. They are worse for the SEO, but may be more efficient for the WIX host itself. I would never use them if I would not have to.
