You can use just 1 area trigger to affect all the vertices. Just give the outer ones a group and put that group into the trigger Also the effect id is useless in this video because effect id only used with area animate to tell the trigger what area to target. It's not a unique id like the gradient trigger's id

So, yes you are right. One Area move trigger is enough for all vertices 👍 However, if you use more than one Area Move trigger, the ID is important, otherwise it’s not working (at least for me)

If I use 2 Area Move triggers with the same Effect ID, only one will work. If I increase the effect ID both are working.

U can actually make a cool shadow gradient by setting the base color to black and setting the detail to copy that black, but with 0 opacity.
@inDrinkabim
@inDrinkabim 7 ай бұрын
Nah the problem is that you have to align the vertices in the correct way of how the gradient “flows”. If you do that then its not a circular gradient, but a square gradient. This alone doesn't look to bad but the gradient will be stretched very far and than you barely see the gradient. But yeah, if you make the “moveDist” smaller you might achieve a desired look.
@CurtaGD
@CurtaGD 7 ай бұрын
The best I figured out for "moveDist" is 50. Nice, short shadow that fades out better than the black blending.
