Cool idea about using a Matrix or Table via Bookmark. I wonder what the formatting looks like when you export a matrix into Excel..

That's a good question, I just tried it and it looks pretty good! It doesn't make what I would consider a "proper" pivot table, but it does group the data visually like a matrix and puts the totals in bold font.

Not currently, but I could clean it up and put it in github if it'd be useful. It's based on public data, so technically shareable. I've been putting all of my demos in a single file so I need to reorganize a bit. :)

Hi thanks for the video. Someone pointed me to that video because I needed to do a dynamic group by, but when we select fields in your "By..." field Parameter, we can still see several lines with the same fields, so it doesn't group them by these fields values. How is it possible to accomplish a real dynamic group by please ?

That's true for the table, but if you use the "by..." dimension as rows in the matrix visual, it will group them up on whatever the unique values are.

Works great in desktop but not when deployed to Report Server

I am not sure if this feature is enabled for Report Server. The community threads for it indicate it was still in preview, but I don’t see a release date or mention of whether it’s GA now there or not. I am not using Report Server so it’s hard to check :)

Hey, hi Christine. I have tried like you said and it a great one and while adding measures as field parameters and adding them dynamically to the table visual iam unable to use the conditional formatting for each measure with different conditions. Please lead me to solve this issue. Thankyou.

Yeah, this video from Guy in a Cube might be what you want - you can add conditional formatting for field parameter measures in Cell Elements too: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gbWVh5x12NGRqKM.html
