hey Lisa, thank you for this video, but I was wondering if you would ever take us underneath the hood? MS learning path doesn't teach/educate you on configuration (advanced settings), also ALM, moving a sales module from sandbox to prod etc. Thanks for all you do

Hey, Lisa thank you for the video,I had a question there's a scenario where I had to add a product to the quote but i don't have permission to add , requesting the permission form the admin takes time and the customer needs the product so urgently, is there any alternative that i can add the product and send the quote to customer

how do i search for a specific item sold in a day? let's say i want to keep a record of a named product i sell. and i want to be able to generate a daily report to see how many pieces of that product i have sold in a day. Thanks

You can store the products in the products table. There is a series of tables where you can store quote/order/invoice but if you have a very simple sales process and don’t need that I’d just have a simple Sales table where one product had many sales. Each row in the sales table looks up to a product and shows the date, quantity, value. Most organisations have that data in their ecommerce or ERP systems though rather than CRM but you could choose to integrate it.
