I wouldn’t call it a surprise but in a weaker class, to spend a Day 2 pick is significant imo. We quickly forget that just last year Kyren was a nobody as well as Puka. Sean McVay can make anyone his guy if he sees them as that person. Doesn’t exactly have the best track record in sticking with RBs long term either 🙏🏼 I loved Kyren coming out but I’m not sure how we can twist it that this is good for Kyren considering all but 1 of his RUSH TDs came inside the 10 yard line and Blake Corums best attribute is his goal line success 🫡

​@@DynastyLandFootball I would say it would be shocking if the Rams didnt bring in anyone else in free agency / draft. They could not go into a season with only Kyren at RB. They went 8-4 with Kyren last season, and went 2-3 without him. Lets say Kyren lost 30% of his touches (and yards on the ground) and all rushing TDs he would still finish within top 24 RBs. I think that is an extreme example and not the likely option. RBs usually increase their efficiency with less touches aswell. Blake Corum might of course also be a complete bum. Would be cool if you guys went into depth with the stats to make some sort of best range of outcome and worst case of outcome, preferably backed up with historic data. Also diving into the point of McVay switching RB1 often, as I believe several of those instances have been due to injuries and inefficiency. Has he ever had a more efficient RB? Currently I feel the Kyren haters goes too far in talking bad about the situation, while the defenders goes too far in the opposite direction.

Yeah they picked up a rb in the third tho. You don’t spend that type of pick if you don’t plan on using them in some sort of rb by committee setting. If Blake Corum turns out to be as good as everyone expects him to be he will take carries away from Kyren for sure

You’re actually making my point. Kyren was banged up last year and it cost him to miss games. He needs someone else there to help with the load. It will only keep Kyren more fresh. I rather have 80% of Kyren for 16-17 games instead of banged up Kyren for 12 games.

I think you could trade back one or two spots and still get him depending on the rb depth the players before you have on their rosters. Entirely depends on your current roster also but the 1.04 is one or two spots too high.

Because Walker can average more than 3.4 yards per carry, and White can't.

Completely agree. These guy try chasing upside and look at draft capital far too much, but overlook the reality of the rb position. You want 12-15 points weekly and to set it and forget it. You want it now because most rbs won’t have more than a few useful years anyway. Talking about 26 and 27 year old running backs and their draft capital playing an important role in their future is crazy. Also Najee should be above every one of the people in the tier above his.

@@onedayatatime007 except ken walker is 23 and white is 25. And the only reason you don’t like K9 more is cause you’re scared of charb. But if you watched actual football you would see K9 is much better than him.

Overall, we just don’t have a good read on any RB in DEN

Thank you. The draft capital trap seems to be a theme when it comes to the RB position. There is not 1 guy on the Chiefs roster who is a treat to steal consistent touches from Pacheco. CEH was a 1st rd pick and got his job taken by a 7th. Captial is overrated

@@MaadhatsOnTwitchi love Pacheco as a Chiefs fan, I can tell you he is a great win now player, however the Chiefs still have questions long term which is why I see why he is valued the way he is

@@DynastyLandFootball it's hard to see a young team fall short but you gotta love the experience you get out of it! I felt that way after the bittersweet lost during the Run TMC era of Dubs basketball. Thot more was to come but sadly it was a short era. So lucky to have the Dubs era we just got!
