Heard the Confidence 20 at a show in 2019 which overwhelmed me. So i bought Dynaudio Special 40 and changed them after one year in Contour 20i. Love Music and Dynaudio. When I was married my wife always supported me with my gear/music. Thats nice!

Yes it’s easy to get overwhelmed by Dynaudio hearing it for the first time. They’re exceptional. Thanks for sharing your reflection and story! Cheers to more great music & listening 🎶

Conference 30 These are very bad speakers for the price You can very easily hear the compression of the box in them (you can hear the body humming), at high frequencies the tweeter can click if the speaker is loaded well Design 😂

They sound and look great. I have heard them before. There are tons of exceptional speakers on the market at all price levels; the Dynaudio confidences are as good as any. Unlike a lot of speakers, these are drop dead gorgeous which does matter if you're going to be sitting in front of them for literally thousands of hours. They have my vote!!

Good choice. I have Dynaudio as well, and they sound excellent. Can't go wrong with the Confidence series.

@@lilac.moonlight Heritage Specials. They were in my budget, and I prefer bookshelf speakers. Also, the sound I'm told is quite good compared to higher end Dynaudio speakers. I would have gotten the Confidence 20 if my budget was higher.

The previous speakers, the Elysian 4, should be very good as well. You can always combine color with white. They are always a color match.

Well they were good, but to me personally they were the speakers I liked the least out of all which I’ve ever heard at home 😌 Bulky by design, and the sound lacked clarity…

I have not heard the Elysian 4 -But a friend who runs an audio business picked them as his reference speaker and even measured the response and they were spot on - anyway the 30 i have not heard but the 50 I have and they were good but so overpriced just ridiculous. Great video -lucky husband.

@@roymindmybusiness6908 Interesting, thanks for sharing! I think it also depends on what amplifier they (Elysians) are matched with, perhaps just didn’t work well with the one we had:)

Hi, thanks for your kind words! Do you plan to upgrade to 60 or keep 20 and add on the 60 to another space? As for us, we are still astonoshed by the 30. Moving to another place very soon where a setup will be different so I may film a new video if I get inspired:) Oh and greetings to the sunny Bangladesh from snowy Sweden 💜

Hello Lillac . . . as happy Dynaudio fan (I have the Heritage Special which is a miniature cousin to the speakers you bought for your lucky husband :-) I can assure you that you MORE than made a great GREAT choice in making a wonderful gift of sound and music for your husband. What is also fantastic is, just like when he takes you out to your favourite restaurant, you BOTH enjoy the meal and each others's company. The same can be said now that you have treated your husband to HIS favourite speakers : you can BOTH enjoy them listening together sometimes! You are sweet to him. Hi David! As from one happy Dynaudo fan to another - great choice indeed:) What do you like the most about the Heritage Specials? These speakers certainly elevate the listening experience to another level. One friend said I could have bought my dream handbag or jewelry for the price of these, but it didn’t even cross my mind to compare these things as I’d not justify such price for a bag however pretty it may be, plus thinking about the artisian technology and level of joy listening to the music in the household, and extra happy husband. As we are moving soon, I cannot wait to listen to them in our new house:) Happy winter celebrations 🕯️✨🎶

@@lilac.moonlight Hi Lilac! So nice to read your wonderful note! Speaking of notes, you can be confident (wink wink) that your Confidence 30's will bring you musical notes in all their glory possible, to your and your happy husband's ears ! :-) The COLOUR of your C 30's is glorious (which would be my first choice too :-) and I'm sure they will fit in with the new decor in your new home after you have applied your expert eye to your new surroundings. I feel that the darker hues of your C 30's and perhaps black subwoofer(s) will take up less visual space in your new surroundings. IF shopping for a new subwoofer I would try and talk your husband into looking seriously into a REL No.31 in order to match the very high performance level of the C 30's you gave him. (I do NOT work for REL BTW ! LOL) But I did just buy a REL for my Heritage Specials and I can assure you that it is a match made in Heaven :-) I would have also purchased the C 30's as a first choice but they would have overwhelmed the smaller listening space that I have at the moment. I too hope to move soon but In the meantime, the Heritage Specials are in essence "miniature" C 30's in that play divinely and with amazing soul satisfying fidelity n a smaller space augmented in every way with the REL subwoofer. I hope we can exchange more "news" here after you and your new C 30's have found a new home LOL Happy Holiday and Winter celebrations to you both as well and happy LISTENING ! - I'm happy that we all share the Dynaudio experience !!

@@lilac.moonlight Right - the set-up for active subwoofers now gets easier through Dirac Live Bass Control the brand new M66 streaming DAC / pre-amp offers (it has 2 balanced sub out connections) The existing M33 could extend its service life and serve purely as power amp, connected to the M66 (another potential "surprise"). In my opinion, visiting a major NAD dealer could prove to be a good (time) investment for a on-site Q & A re. the optimal configuration that should include your listening room's acoustic characteristics.
