Unbelievable! Look at other wannabe "high end" companys... they build a 30.000 Euro speaker and to test it they only Use a test tone.

If I remember correctly, Dynaudio is one of only two European companies to have their own magnetizer for making, well, the magnets for the woofers.

I would say, Dynaudio also uses testtones, better test-clicks, as the Jupiter-room isn't damped too much. They just send a tone and measure it before the echo from the room arrives back, so they have the tone of the speaker solely, really clever solution but not possible to test the speakers with music. I presume they have listening sessions in another room, to finetune the speakers.

The speakers spent less than 10% of the development time in the measurement room. Rest is spent in the listening room. This listening room at Dynaudio is the same room that has been used for the last 30 odd years. So the acoustic engineers come to learn the sound of the room extremely well. Jupiter is a tool like a hammer or a saw. You are not building a house only using tools.
