This room was just awesome....also got to hear the Evoke standmounts - such a big sound from a small box. Only went for the day so did not get to see/hear everything - great to catch up with your coverage.

I love the sound of the these! Truly special. Even better in person. I was in the room when Dave Brubeck Take Five track was playing. Wanted to take them home right away 😋 I think these probably need bigger room to show all they can do.

I saw these at the show, there was a superb Prince track "The Undertaker" that was playing and the sound was incredible.

I enjoyed these at the show. A good size demo room and these were very nice. Nice bass weight, natural sounding with nice detail. Great video again😁

Until I heard ATCs. Dynaudios used to be my favourite speakers (which I also owned). But listening to this presentation now: the bass is boomy, the midrange is both recessed and muddy, the treble is unnaturally bright.

Listening to the demo with a pair of AKG K-1000 headphones driven by a Luxman MQ-360 all-tube power amp, the guitar sounds ashtonishing well, but the voice seems too cased, with a lot of room interaction. With a pair of KEF Q-300, driven by a combo Cyrus Two SE + PSX additional power supply, the impressions mentioned above remain the same, even a bit reinforced, perhaps.

@@venturarodriguezvallejo1567 it is just a chance. Some recording engineers cannot do without some sort of processing of the signals ... i prefer flat. Low noise and low distortion always and flat. The more real that is possible.

@@gino3286 Me too. In this case, however, I think the problem does not come from the ORIGINAL recording, but from the fact we are listening to a recording of another recording: the "take" from a reproduction of the original sound INTO a given room through a pair of loudspeakers. Added to a THIRD reproduction (our own loudspeakers into our own room) forcely must deviate the final frequency response we hear in the video. The mid band (the voice, mainly) is more prone to be listened as alterarated because it is our more sensitive audio region.

Gave up on Bristol years ago because they insist on playing the same kind of geriatric music in all the rooms. I'm almost 50 but still wouldn't have any interest in this kind of stuff but am the demographic that can actually afford to buy these kind of speakers

I was at high end Munich 2019 and I was able to hold a piece of the complex baffle and the speakers neodymium magnets was exposed to the public and for me the new model seems much better sonically and physically.

Nice speakers, but NAIM is overpriced and unnatural sounding to my ears.
