That's the horniest-sounding race bike I've heard since the original factory Rocket 3's and Tridents of the late 60's and early 70's with their 3 into 1 open megaphones. Yep, that dates me.... into my 70's and still riding :-)

Where the limiter rpm it's sound like more than 17000 rpm same with MotoGP engine speed

Its limited in 15k in qualifications mode. When races is late shift at 13.6k rpm in final gear ratio at gear 6. The speed is similar with motoGP 2007 sound

Don't get why Triumph isn't allowed to state what the output figures are. Possibly some contractual blockers. All we know is that it is 135+ BHP - which probably translates to something like 150 BHP

Being nearly 800cc I'm betting it's more like 160 to 180hp at the crank. 150hp is damn near what new 600cc bikes make.

@@m5a1stuart83 168bhp is theoretically possible if you used bhp/litre of a WSB spec engine / or 198bhp based on the bhp/litre of a MotoGP engine. I've never seen 170bhp quoted anywhere for the 765 Moto2 engine. Please can you provide a link?

The engine is derived from Triumph’s Street Triple RS and produces a peak power of 170hp. A huge leap from the current Honda CBR600RR plant that produces only 130 Hp. "

But since Moto2 rule is 140hp, then I am guessing power is limited by max rpms or such. The bike in the video sounds so much more angry than a showroom floor 765 (128hp currently), it has to be making well north of 140 here.

Well the Moto2 rules say 140hp. But it sounds like it just might be capable of more.

immanuel iggi it’s a fan. They use it to blow air in to the intake since in the real scenario the bike would be moving thus sucking more air in. Hope this helps.
