She hit the nail on the head when she said she had her husband on the throne instead of God. The tragic part is many women commit the sin of idolatry, putting their husband on a pedestal. Then when their husbands fail, they look to replace them with another idol. Put Christ on the throne ladies!
@mickeytollison
@mickeytollison 2 жыл бұрын
That excuse is nonsense. If she is honest she had the other man on a pedestal and her husband tucked away in a closet. She wanted to pursue lust and that had nothing to do with where she placed Al. We all have sin and we have to admit its origin and deal with the root cause.

I was the cheater. My wife and I are going through this. I didn’t cheat recently it was many years ago but she forgave me without actually forgiving me like he spoke about. We are currently living separately. I just started serving God a few weeks ago and it’s been a lot, but I will not stop serving Him no matter what! I don’t know why I’m going through this but I pray He heals my wife even if we don’t get back together. She served God and hates Him now because He took too long to answer her prayers for me to change. God is never too late for a breakthrough and I ask anyone reading this pray for my wife and our marriage.

Brother confess your sins to her and ask her forgiveness. (James 5:16) Then share these marital scripture Truths with her: Genesis 2:24 Mark 10:7-12 Romans 7:39 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 1 Corinthians 7:39 Ephesians 5:31-33. And read Ephesians 5:20-33 yourself. It is comforting seeing another couple go through serious trials and choose to love each other through it. My marriage also went through a similar situation. Through that we found our short comings and have persevered and have two wonderful boys and a busy life. I praise God for the grace, mercy, and forgiveness. And to my husband for finding his faith when I had lost my own(while I was so lost).

@@philarevolutionarywarriorp8295 it wasn't an easy or overnight fix. I was previously the one that pushed to go to church and things. But when I lost my way my BIL helped my husband find his faith. Not that my husband is an active person in the church. But he goes because it is important to me. Don't get me wrong, his father was trying to get him to get a PI and he was researching ways to keep our son that I was pregnant with at the time. And I'm so glad we worked it out. Because he loves me and we both re-prioritized our lives and I now guard my heart. I didn't know the dangers of that before this happened. I was always very open and forth coming, which I still am to an extent. But I don't have close guy friends like that, etc. I have no doubt by husband would act the same if we weren't to end up together down the road. That is the example he had from his father. And I would want to be friends and make friends with the next wife. But once he is burned he has a hard time mending that fence. Best of luck! And pray for her heart and pray about bettering your heart and showing God's love to others. :)

Wow, Lisa thought she “knew” the Lord but actually didn’t and she was a Pastors wife! This reminds me of the scripture where the people said, “in Your Name we have cast out devils” and the Lord replies “Depart from Me, I never knew (had an intimate relationship with) you”. There will be a lot of tears on the day we stand before the Lord. Just going to Church or going through the motions does not make you a Christian. It is about accepting Jesus as your Savior and knowing him intimately in relationship! I love their testimony! And all their families. They are showing the gospel to us in their own personal lives. WOW, after my husband cheated on me, I was not able to forgive him for many years, however he left and never came back..... So glad you were able to do that and thank you for your honesty. 💕

If he is you 1st, original Covenant husband then I'd urge you to reach out to him as you are both STILL MARRIED in God's eyes. The churches have Lied about this and followed the devil in the false doctrine of divorce (and remarriage) but The Holy Word of God says otherwise... Matthew 19:5-6 Mark 10:2-12 Luke 16:18 Romans 7:1-3 1 Corinthians 7:39 Ephesians 5:25-33 The marriage Covenant is indeed for life and Only death breaks it

@@stefaniekay8699 Amen Sister. That's great to hear. Hopefully you find a new husband (if you so choose) as you are free to do so in the Lord as a widow [1 Corinthians 7:39]

Lisa, I have read enough about you to know your story. My childhood dysfunction follows me. I haven't watched your videos because I am afraid of the feelings that I have buried but not very well. I was a PK and knew better but feel a wall in my ministry and marriage now. It may well be my own shame. I desire to get to the other side of all of this. I need to see you smile more and speak more - not of your testimony but of your joys now. how has God & Alan restored you (today) and how do you receive it?

Their story is my story. My husband put me through hell. We have stayed together for 44 years, but I have not yet gotten to the point where I can forgive him, and our marriage has suffered because of it. I’m glad they have found their way.

I am glad you made it through. I was not, evil got to my ex wife. I saw the change and realized there was nothing I could do. More like a car crash that you have no control over. Her lies and deceit were everyday. There was no way I could forgive her or get her to see what she had done.

I want to say Thank you...Thank you for sharing such a private and special story. As your story is symbolic to mine and I am sure to so many others I would like to share the following. I have found that any 2 people can persevere though any trial as long as one of those 2 people is our Heavenly Father. The above story shows this to be true. Life challenges can test us to our very core. Wanting us to end anything that can bring joy to our lives. The key is to allow our Heavenly Father to guide our life and allow our Faith to be within him 100% in our thoughts, actions and daily lives. Trials can be so difficult and make us want to give up. But despite our trial, we can overcome any obstacle that is placed before us by exercising our Faith in our Heavenly Father. This doesn't mean that life will be a walk in the park. It will still have its ups and downs. But I am here to promise each of you that on our Heavenly Fathers watch your trial will pass and you will eventually see the Joy that was meant for you and each of us. God Bless You All
