Very useful information to parents, students and educators.

It is true that Ron Davis does not have a doctorat but he has pioneered a way to help the world understand itself better. The Davis programs are great for their special purposes but to the public at large his programs can also be considered self development courses. Training in this method is most enriching not just in the USA but throughout the world. His books have been published in many languages.

As an educator myself, but NOT someone who understands dyslexia and related learning styles "from the inside out", I was thrilled to discover Ronald Davis's method of facilitation to support the growth and learning of visual-spatial thinkers. I intuitively understood that it takes someone who actually THINKS this way to help the rest of us gain an accurate understanding of what is going on in the minds of those with this learning style. I often explain to potential Davis clients that this is a KEY element which sets the Davis method apart from other dyslexia interventions: The Davis method was created by someone who fully experienced the challenges of interpreting the symbolic representation of language as a "picture thinker". Most other approaches aiming to teach dyslexic individuals were created by teachers who did NOT struggle to interpret symbols---letters, words, punctuation, numerals and math signs. Ronald Davis's methods WORK for others because they are based upon the strategies he developed to solve his own learning challenges. ~Melissa Norgren
