For the price of that Dyson tool it should already come with the option to add flip or curl to the ends. Thats a lot of extra work for a 500 dollar tool. You can achieve those same results with a regular blowdryer, flat iron, or those thermal round brushes.

I tried this technique with the airstrait because I hated the unfinished straight look and let me tell you it was taking soo long it wasn't worth it. I'm so glad I returned it and watching this video was giving me anxiety because it reminded me of how terrible it was. I ended up getting the Revlon one step plus instead and it works in half the time and gives me a bouncy blow out

@@DanteVelasquezit’s designed to blow dry & straighten hair. That’s it. You can’t round the ends with it. It works great. If you care about flipped ends so much use a flat iron after or another tool. Dyson airwrap can give flipped ends. Use tools as designed and have realistic expectations. Don’t complain it doesn’t do what YOU WANT hahaha. Dumbo.

@@Muslimah33well…no? She’s never done a comparison specifically on blow dryer brushes, just blow dryers in general. Besides, when she did do it was like 2 years ago and didn’t include all the brushes I just mentioned. Plus so many new ones have come out since, like the new t3 and new dyson brush attachment.

I like to use the air straight and put my ends in small rollers as I go. I don't apply additional heat. I have a lot of hair and only use about 5 rollers to flip the ends in a little.

This is a great idea too. I think her way is just too much and a bit ridiculous IMO. For me, I just use the airstrait and use my curling iron to touch up the ends if I don’t want pin straight ends that day.

Have u tried using the airstrait and rolling your sections into curlers and leaving it for sometime if that works it will be far lesser time used than using the round brush and aistrait

Using the airstraight as a blow dryer seems counterintuitive. Your hair looks beautiful! I really want the dyson airstraight. The oil has really high reviews on sephora.

It is and it works well. You don’t even need a flat iron after unless your hair is that textured and needs the extra heat to get it flat. Trying to use a tool improperly is crazy and that’s why this “method” is complicated. At that point just use a round brush and normal blow dryer or dyson airwrap.

@@Crystal4691it works great. If you’re using it wrong and not using proper shampoo, conditioner & hair products it won’t give you optimal results. Watch tutorials, practice and learn. Blow dry roots, use wet mode, then use boost on dry, finish with cool air and it lasts. You’ll need to use med-high heat, not low.

Airstrait is not for curling or waves, so the video is pointless. If she want waves than the airwrap is for it. This video is like I buy a bicycle and I’m make a video it’s not like car or idk 👀

@@dianasrubekova8638right. This is for straight hair. Airwrap is for blowouts, curls, rough dry “straight” but won’t give pin straight hair like the air straight does. Everyone should be using it as intended. It’s obvious the commenter can’t afford it & is making an excuse.
