Yes it does have heat even though it’s a low heat you still have to be careful if you use it daily. Straighten and dry hair - at the same time. Three pre-set temperatures - 175°F, 230°F, and 285°F - Or Touch up refresh your style from dry. Style at 250°F or 285°F or use the optional Boost mode for maximum styling impact. for those for thicker hair Touch up or refresh your style from dry. Style at 250°F or 285°. The only difference is that this does not have hot plates is just air

I need to get one of these. I have those horrible straggly greys too and they’re driving me crazy. I also have fine hair but a lot of it. I have the airwrap which I love but this looks great to get that really smooth look. I’m in the UK and it hasn’t launched here yet, even though I live down the road from Dyson HQ 🤷‍♀️

Thank you for this! I just ordered mine (ouch)! Can you tell me what heat setting you use? I’m hoping to be able to use the lowest heat setting because my hair is so super fine (and grey)! I have a lot of it but it’s so fine and damaged easily. I actually pretty much never style it but this seems like a miracle tool for sure!!🙏 I look forward to your input on the heat!

Wow, love the ease of straightness :-) My hair is mid-length, reverse A-line, so I think the dryer is too big for my hair length, plus the cost (yikes). Plus, at my age, I'd rather put my money toward the Omnilux Red Light Mask ;-)

It’s great for straightening but everyone’s hair has absolutely no volume at the top. That’s just a no go for me personally. I like much more lift at the root.
