Crazy how much there is just to make the drums turn the opposite direction, I feel if dyson made something different instead of the contrarotator it could of been more of a success not saying it wasn’t but I feel it would of been much better but it was certainly advanced for its time

I wonder why they designed it with two motors linked together driving the same pulley instead of one bigger motor

Iknow this is a old vid, but still have no idea how Dyson pulled this off. I can see why this was a maintenance nightmare lmao.

You could try to unseize the controtation by pressing your hands onto both of the drums and try to turn them with a bit of strength to see if it unblocks it. I'm not sure if it might work but it's worth giving it a go. But yet again i really don't know that much on fixing the controtation on these machines.
