I am a young woman and I understand this character so well, I felt close to him when my anger and darkness was nearly incurable. I am in Peace now, still wounded and I won't forgive certain "things" but I feel more peaceful and mature ... Darth Vader had a " Christian " redemption when he saved his son from a certain death at his own expense. He has freed himself and his son. Love you Darth Vader 🖤🖤 We all have darkness inside us, but better to choose light. In memory of my My Mother.

Loss of the Mother. Watching Ahsoka walk away. Betrayal of Windu. Being forced to turn against everyone he ever knew and cared about, and kill them all. Losing Padme. Loss of the 501st. Watching his own son reject him. All whilst being manipulated by a truly evil individual. Star Wars' Arthas Menethil, except that when he died, Vader finally found peace, forgiveness, and comfort.

Don't wanna rain on your comment but I don't remember Windu betraying Anakin. Windu didn't trust Anakin, but that's very different from betrayal. And Luke rejecting him is contradictory. Yoda, the Jedi Council, and even Kenobi all thought Anakin was irredeemable and had no hope, but Luke was the only person who actually showed love and trust to his father. He knows how much Vader is suffering and can't ignore what had to be done. In the end, Luke didn't reject him, he was the one who saved him.

Vader deserved whatever suffering he went through. He can point the finger nad blame others and circumstances all he wants..but in the end it was all on him. He chose the dark path..to fall and allow himself to be tricked and led. He could have made the right choice and destriyed the darkness...saved Padme..saved the Jedi...but he chose himself.

@@khademusic509 I somewhat agree with this. Yes, the Jedi bear some responsibility for Anakin’s fall as well as the manipulations of the Sith, but Obi-Wan gave Anakin the training and the wisdom to choose a better path…he did not.

This is AWSOME! I FEEL FOR DARTH VADER (AKA ANIKEN) he lost his focus, and jedi is not perfect. They make mistakes like everyone else, but they fight for DEMOCRACY AND FEEDOM! NOT SELF PITTY, NOT VENGENCE, NOT HATETRED, NOT FEAR, WHEN ANIKEN SAW PADMAE DIE IN CHILD BIRTH THAT IS WHEN HE CHANGE TO THE DARK SIDE! I SPENT 4 YEARS IN THE MARINES AS A FORCED RECON SNIPER IN 1987-1991. I LOST BUDDIES! AND 25 YEARS AS A POLICE OFFICER. I never went off the Dark End! My belief in God and Jesus Christ saved me a lot of times in combat and as a police officer. My dad was in Vietnam 1965-1968. And Korea before that 1950-1953 as a Marine. My grandfather's and uncles served in WW2. They fought as well. Keep the faith, and MAY God and Jesus Christ be with you! AND THE FORCE AS WELL SEMPER FI.

I think the Jedi needed Vader, in his eyes they were becoming corrupt.. And I think we'd be lying if we said we didn't see his point of view.. The Force balanced to the Dark for a reason.. just as it balances to the Light.. Somehow the Universe always has it's way of keeping itself intact.

this song pretty much describes my year…i’ve had a close friend d!e to H1N1 at the age of 17 then a week or two later, both my dogs d!ed…and now my soul, my heart are both shattered. i haven’t felt this broken and this much pain in a long time. 😭

Grazie, friend…i hope the day comes when i can see my friend and my dogs again. as well as the ones who’ve passed away earlier in my life…eg my mother’s father…and my other dogs and cats.
