This style of Purrely play really feels more like what they wanted people to do with the deck than the whole "Sit on ExNoir forever" trick people found that works against 90% of stuff. It's still obnoxious, yes, but it's easier to respect it since it encourages doing more stuff with your cards. Also watching Gage gloat about triple Beauty was hilarious. Also it kind of helps fit the deck into everyone being on Water stuff this week for some insane reason.

Honestly, multiple people pulling Speedroid SRs that aren't in the secret pack is perfect revenge after Farfa just made fun of someone in a recent video for caring that the Speedroid pack hadn't been updated (even though it's been over 2 years since their latest wave of support was added)

Gage is so based for bringing Purrely. Beauty is such a good card being able to slurp a monster then negate monsters if they try to respond.

Things have taken an Interesting turn on Saga! Doug getting Gymir Aegirine was really cool because I’ve taken a likening to IceJades. I can see him having more potential with IceJades when he pulls more support cards. In the Season 6 environment where you can’t pull from a secret pack multiple times, it made sense that Farfa just focused on the Mermails instead of gambling with the Tearlament/Mermail pack. Shame he didn’t get Dweller. 44:16 Gage is starting to pop off already playing Purrely. It’s a surprisingly strong rouge deck. If he pulls Expurrely Noir randomly in the future, that’s going to be HUGE. Though, Gage playing Beauty control definitely worked out fine enough without the other XYZ Purrely monsters. Also, the other pulls he got has big implications for future strategies. Good episode!

This was a great episode Doug's deck was sick, bricky as hell but when it pops off that icejade synchro is one of the coolest in the game.

Asa ghoti player, i must show the slight misplay which probably did not matter. Doug last game: Had 2 miniaruka up, he could have used the cont. Spell to grab snopios back, and then summon it with abyss keeper's effect instead, which would have let me banish that instead and then snopious would have been back in his hand later. The issue here is gage would have probably negated the keeper instead of snopious but he would have had a fish to recycle to start fury controlling but COPE COPE COPE he'd have won if gage lost yknow.

This episode is a prime example of why I think each Player needs to have a single Emergency Ban/Limit available between Bans. With the Legacy Bans removed and the Packs freed up games can be utterly one-sided.

Potential rule addition: If you open a selection pack card, and theres a secret pack for that archetype, you can go into that secret pack. Or maybe just if its an ultra? Like the fire king card farfa pulled.

Technically, using Geh's effect would've let it last longer. It'd shrink down to 1600, so it could be GIngerbread-ed an extra time before being destroyed. It's possible to have grinded a bit more that last game, though ordinarily I agree you would want the stats to be bigger. Not exactly the easiest judgement to make in the moment.

Apparently "minai ru ka" means something like "take a look at this", which is also a bit of a pun because "iruka" means dolphin, and Minairuka is kinda beckoning to someone in the art. There's also another monster that looks similar called "Imairuka" which is a similar dolphin pun, now with "ima iru ka?" which means "where am I now?", and that monster looks kinda lost.
