How the hell did i never hear of this band before?!!! Its absolutely perfect for what I am looking for. Everything else has been put in 2nd place until I manage to listen to every single bit of music from Dzivia. Wow just wow.

I know this is late to post, but I've been searching for this style of music for so long and now I finally found the music I love. It's hard to put in words, but I feel the power and emotion is awe inspiring, and though I don't understand the words (I only know English) I find the lyrics beautiful. Thank you for bringing this to the world!

I am the same only discovered this music this morning and on the hunt now for everything they produce holy crap this stuff is good. Its exactly what I love listening to and its perfectly balanced. They remind me of Dead Can Dance too but this is way closer to what I truely love, that old celtic folk epic score type energy. I can literally float off into another time and pretend to be someone else for an hour.

Have you heard of a band Wardruna? It's more of a Nordic/Viking music but has amazing energy to it. The energy is slightly different from Dzivia though. Try the song NaudiR (just make sure to listen to the entirety of it because it's a trip). That said discovered Dzivia yesterday thanks to youtube algorithms and I'm happy i stumbled on it.

The first song sort of transports me to a place of peace and lukewarm familiarity. As if I were returning to my home after a long journey due to my last relative finally passing on. Now it is up to me to keep my family’s legacy and to do my pa proud. I imagine myself walking down my old road and looking up to see the trees that I used to play in as a child. Looking all around, passing memory after memory until I arrive at my now abandoned childhood home. Covered in moss and vine, cracks along the walls, broken windows. Not in total disrepair, but she’s most definitely hanging on by a thread. I walk around back to the old shed, where my pa kept his tools and I grab a hammer and some nails and look at the empty, sagging doorway. Firm, eager, and ready to start my next journey, but now in a setting I know through and through. It is my turn to maintain my family’s name, and I am more than happy to oblige.
