Like being told by your great masters what to study maybe the Abrihhamic what is the purpose of life question is actually a call for direction. Individuality means your on your own. So purpose may actually be just wanting a sense of direction with intuitive completeness.

How about Awareness being a good enough direction, I should think. That should take us a long way on our journey.
