Phase ലും Earth ലും ബൾബ് കത്തിച്ചു വമ്പിട്ട് അതു തമ്മിൽ Voltage നോക്കിയാൽ കൃത്യമായി എർത്തിങ് എത്ര ശക്തമാണെന്ന് പറയാനൊക്കും. Bulb watage കൂടുന്നതിനു ആനുപാതികമായി Voltage ൽ കുറവ് കണ്ടേക്കാം.

RCCB എന്നാൽ Recidual Current circuit breaker. ഫേസ് ലൈനും നൂട്രൽ ലൈനും ഇതിൽ കൂടി പാസ് ചെയ്തതിനു ശേഷമാണ് വീട്ടിലെ എല്ലാ സർക്യൂട്ട്കളിലേക്കും പോകുന്നത്.. RCCB നോക്കുന്നത് ഫേസ് ലൈനിൽ കൂടി ഉള്ളിലേക്ക് പോയ അത്രയും current നൂട്രൽ ലൈനിൽ കൂടി തിരിച്ചു വരുന്നുണ്ടോ എന്നാണ്.. അകത്തേക്ക് പോയ അത്രയും കറൻ്റ് return ആകാതിരുന്നാൽ അകത്തെവിടെയോ current leakage to earth ഉണ്ടെന്നാണ്. ഇങ്ങനെ നഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന കറൻ്റിനെ residual current എന്നു വിളിക്കുന്നു. ഈ light ഉപയോഗിച്ചുള്ള ടെസ്റ്റിംഗ് നടക്കുമ്പോൾ ഫേസ് ലൈനിൽ കൂടി വന്ന കറൻ്റ് നൂട്രൽ ലൈനിന് പകരം ഏർത്ത് ലൈനിൽ കൂടി return aayi ഭൂമിയിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നു.. അപ്പോൾ RCCB ഫേസ് ലൈനിലെയും നൂട്രൽ ലൈനിലെയും കറൻ്റിൽ വ്യത്യാസം കാണുന്നതിനാൽ circuit trip ചെയ്യുന്നു.. സാധാരണയായി വളരെ ചെറിയ വ്യത്യാസം ( 0.03Ampere) മതി ഇത് ട്രിപ്പ് ആകാൻ... RCCB യുടെ ഉപയോഗം ആളുകളെ ഇലക്ട്രിക് ഷോക്ക് അടിച്ചു മരിക്കുന്നതിൽ നിന്നും രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നതാണ്.. കാരണം നമ്മൾ അറിയാതെ ഫേസിൽ തൊട്ടാൽ നമ്മളുടെ ശരീരത്തിൽ കടക്കുന്ന current ഭൂമിയിലേക്ക് പോകും... ഇത് RCCB തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞു ട്രിപ്പ് ആകും.

Lamb test ok. It shows wiring is earthed n not earth resistance. If earthing is proper nutral to earth voltage varies depending on voltage drop in the nutral from transformer as the nutral is earthed in the transformer only.

എന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ Nutral to Earth voltage വ്യത്യസ്ത സമയങ്ങളിൽ വ്യത്യസ്ത വോൾട്ടേജാണ് കാണിക്കുന്നത് ചിലപ്പോൾ അത് 4 to 5 volt കാണിക്കാറുണ്ട് മറ്റു സമയങ്ങളിൽ ചെക്കുചെയ്താൽ അത് 12v to 15v കാണിക്കാറുണ്ട് എന്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് ഇങ്ങനെ സംഭവിക്കുന്നത് ഇത് കൊണ്ടെന്തെങ്കിലും problems ഉണ്ടോ? ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഇത് എങ്ങനെ പരിഹരിക്കാം ഇത് Earth proper അല്ലാത്തത് കൊണ്ടാണോ സംഭവിക്കുന്നത് ?

Hi Tech corner.. I needed an advise from you. Electricity bill in my home is coming upto 2500-5000 rupess in last 3 years even without using high load equipment like AC, heater, invertor etc. We have tried almost everything to find out the high load consumption like, 1. Checked for current leak in all JBs, switch boards 2. Checked for earth leaks 3. Checked the kseb meter more than 5 Times with parallel one 4. Changed the old fridge to new one 5. Changed the whole wiring of the House 6. Changed few mcbs which were faulty All of these done and still no change in the meter reading, we have a consumption of 7-8 units per day as per the meter. Please guide if you have any other suggestions to mitigate this issue

Hi, Issue seems to be interesting.Few of our observations in your query is. Normally electricity consumption depends on 1.Total load 2.Age of Appliances 3.Any wiring issues. But i hope you have cross checked all the same. So in additionally i would suggest to check your total load and updated load in KSEB. If the updated load is much lesser than the current load,Then there is a chance of penalty every month. Also please ensure that no else is connected to your supply without permission. As its domestic load. chance of power factor issue is very low but still suggest to check your power factor too.

താങ്കളുടെ അഭിപ്രായം ശരിയാണ്. ELCB കണക്ട് ചെയ്ത ഭാഗത്തിനു ശേഷമുള്ള എവിടെ ചെക്ക് ചെയ്താലും ട്രിപ്പ് ആകും Earthing ഉണ്ടെന്നു മനസ്സിലാക്കാം എന്നു മാത്രം. മൾട്ടിമീറ്ററിൽ Resistence വാല്യു നോക്കുകയാണ് ELCB/RCCB വച്ച സ്ഥലത്ത് നല്ലത്
