Re the 6 min ave watch time…I’m 100% on your side on this issue but when you don’t have clarity of facts about the tragic accident or say “I’m not on top of the world right now and haven’t done research” and “I THINK it’s 20mph for class 1, maybe it’s a little lower…” (class 1 & 2 are 20mph) right around the 6 min mark, ppl will signed off. Your making a great point, don’t apologize or discount your intended message which has great points about helmets and “undefined e-bikes”! E-bikes are bringing people back to a great mode of commuting or exercising, keep making great arguments and educating so the uninformed politicians don’t make uneducated, knee-jerk reactions to a great evolution of biking.

@@Robert-jd6po first off let me say thank you for watching Robert. And thank you for putting a crossed a reasonable debate. Secondly, it is written in the state statutes that local municipalities can control their sidewalks and bike paths and restrict them from ebikes. They are also doing this on public roads. Thirdly, and make no mistake. My prayers are with the family of the person who passed. But they are using. This is nothing but a weapon. They are completely swept under the rug that she was not wearing a helmet. When someone tried to bring up this fact in a town meeting discussing this, they were booed out and escorted out by the police. That is not sound like people are looking for change for the betterment of everyone. That has more ringing of a mob. And lastly, the state statute defines what is an E bike. If in fact they were having problems with the youth in this town. I can almost promise you it is not on what is legally defined as an E bike. So instead of taking care of true culprits, they have decided to throw a blanket over everything. This is my problem with what they are doing in this town. Not completely sure of the legality of banning these on the road. Because defined E bikes are considered the same as a bicycle, with the same rights. That would be kind of like banning a blue Mustang, because one was in an accident. I do not believe the law allows you to react that way. Again, thank you for watching.

I live in downtown Memphis TN. I walked to the post office last Saturday to mail a letter. Two 4-wheelers sped up behind me and missed me by inches ON THE SIDEWALK. Ebikes are being singled out for bullying. -- I am just now looking into getting an ebike as an alternate means of getting to work (8 miles each way). With 2 bad knees and a heart condition, an ebike is the only way biking will be possible at all. But, I have to use alternate transportation on Fridays. Twice now, I've nearly had a heart attack chasing a city bus because it blew right past the stop like I wasn't even there, waving down the driver even. I think the message is: Drive a car, buy gas/oil, and buy insurance, or lose your job... or just die on the side of the road anyway, chasing a effing bus that ignores you. They don't care which, so long as somebody makes a dollar.

WoW! Your comment was so interesting to read because I live in a small-town MI and have the same medical issues, as well as others. I've been looking into E-bikes for years and became more determined lately because the city bus system not only seem to hate to see me coming with my electric or manual wheelchairs... meaning the driver will have to buckle them down, get up out of thier seats, and possible be late getting to connecting buses for their transfers. They absolutely been late before they ever got to my stop, and I have even gone so far as to sit on the seat, so they can do the least, yet they use me as an excuse, Also, they have recently changed the whole bus schedule after getting the whole whatever extra funds for Covid where we were able to ride for free, they then decided that they could not find any new drivers, so they are now not running on the weekends, stopping all rides at 3pm, instead of 6pm, and only running every hour, not half hour. They took out many stops and have gone through so many drivers who they claim did not have the right attitude for the work. Of course it was all the kind, polite ones that go so quickly. Anywho I elect to use my manual chair so that I can use my legs and get up to stretch, get my blood flowing, and work up a good heart rate, as I have AFIB. I wonder if I could handle riding an E-Bike but it's my last opportunity to stay active, get out sometimes to get away from a neighbor who illegally smokes in the apt under me. As I have a few disabilities working against me, I am very concerned that this is just another way to dive into the elderly's funds and keep us reliant in a way that they can track us and any money we get. Someone at the bus garage has the driver of bus i get on call in and let them know every time I get on the bus, by stating where I got on, if I got a transfer, where I'm transferring to, and where I'm getting off. So, this a way of tracking people, where the bikes would give us our freedom & independence back, if I can tolerate it on my spine. Lastly, I just saw a video where a guy is showing how he just built an E-Bike to go up to 100 miles an hour, SO? Can you imagine what these younger ones could get away with when it comes to police chasing them? I think it would be best the to give more work to construction and road workers to build certain areas that are more bikers only, and bike friendly, so the traffic would be better between them. May restrictions for certain ones on certain paths, but we just can't have the U.S. fighting for climate control, for cleaner air, only to make it cost more than driving, or as much. That seems very counterproductive and lacks respects or concerns for the seniors who need it most.

I started mountain biking back in the mid 80's. Since then I've watched mountain bikes go from being ignored in the beginning to being banned in a lot of places and now back to being ignored. Ebikes have been around long enough that they've attracted the attention of the haters. The new shiny thing to be angry at. Eventually they'll just be ignored again as their popularity and numbers increase. The real ISSUE here is REGULATIONS on everything all the time. Too much government involvement in every aspect of our lives.

This is as much an infrastructure problem as it is a regulation problem. There needs to be a separation between cars, bikes or ebikes, and pedestrians. Riding on a "bike path " that is full of pedestrians acting like squirrels on the path is dangerous. Its really a multiuser path. Passing a pedestrian at 15mph that is not situation aware is dangerous. Placing that same bike on the roadway that has no shoulder where cars are going 30 mph is bad too. There needs to be separate infrastructure for bikes!

But the entire point of this video is that there is a wide spectrum of ebikes. My personal E bike weighs 12 pounds more than a mountain bike. There are very light E bikes out there as well. People need to quit throwing a blanket over every E bike out there. I have had road cyclist with her head down for aerodynamics in groups of four and five come past us at almost double our speed while on the Neuse River Trail. That does not mean I get the right to throw a blanket statement over every cyclist about how they’re not paying attention just for aerodynamics. do you see where I’m coming from on this? My wife is a hiker and has had her group have to jump out of the way of regular cyclist. Would it be fair for hikers to throw a blanket statement and say no more cycles allowed? Or I have ridden most of the cycleways in the wake county area. One time, I saw what appeared to be a suron. Quite honestly, that is the only time I have ever saw a bike that appears like it was built to be used with throttle primarily on any other Greenways in that area. I am not saying there are not some bikers out there that are using their throttle. But overall in the over 3000 miles I have traveled on cycleways I have not seen much of an issue like I am hearing some people complain about. And I promise you I could complain about the road cyclist with just as many experiences and facts to back it up. but I would prefer not to throw a blanket over everybody and light it on fire. @@southernebikingif something doesn’t have pedals it’s not a bike. It’s a motorcycle. The gray area is two wheel vehicles with more than 750 watt motors that do have pedals to avoid registering as a motorcycle and insurance. Then additionally not having turn signals and things to be road legal. I don’t know what regulations are for mopeds, but these seem to fit in that category. I did build a trike that has a 750 watt motor and can throttle to 28mph which is not in any defined class. I usually am pedaling around 10 mph and only use the throttle to get across streets. The trike I ride the most has a 500 watt motor and only delivers 50% output to the throttle, so the motor can assist to 20mph, but the throttle only goes to 10mph. I initially didn’t have the throttle but added it later after I had an incident where I couldn’t pedal and was in the woods with a lot of mosquitoes that could suddenly keep up with me. You can get more powerful motors but it becomes classed as a scooter , not allowed on cycle paths and requires a licence , insurance etc. On top of the above, there are quite a few videos on youtube in america of thrill seeking youngsters riding wrecklessly on insanely powerful ebikes which are really e motorbikes, putting pedals on them to fool the police, hitting speeds of around 50mph. An ebike can weigh alot, especially when you add the weight of the rider which will be lethal if hits anyone at speed, a helmet wont help much on who they hit, especially a fragile old woman. I use a motor to help me up hills, not to travel fast, for that I have to use my legs above 15.5 mph where assistance cuts off in the UK.

When I see ebikes exceeding 35 mph on a path that parallels an industrial arterial in Seattle (with speed limit 35), it's clear something has to change. Our "multi-use paths" , typically 8 to 12 feet wide, are not designed for opposite-direction traffic streams separated only by a 4-inch yellow line, or often no line at all. There's less separation than between cars on a road, and bikes tend to wobble, and don't provide the steel cage protection in a collision. Pedestrians are happy to wear headphones and wander side to side so cyclists need to warn them but can't warn them. An 80-year old lady was knocked over, hit her head on the asphalt, and killed on a path in my metropolis by an adult cyclist (not on an ebike) about 8 years ago and the city promptly lowered the speed limit to 10 mph. I don't know if she turned at 90 degrees to the traffic stream, or it was the cyclist's fault. Really, the engineering community and politicians for the most part treat bikes as toys, and money is always tight, so pedestrians and bike riders are combined on the same roadway. They shouldn't be. Seattle's fifty-year-old Burke Gilman Trail (the original bike trail in Seattle) has been essentially unusable for cycling transportation much of the day for the past 30 years due to lackadaisical attitudes on the part of peds and parents with kids and pets as well as the volumes of users. Cyclists should be on a roadway either by themselves or with cars. Pedestrian-only infrastructure is needed in urban areas. Cyclist-only infrastructure should not have opposing traffic streams, and needs adequate shy distance from posts, fire hydrants, etc. And for the love of God, get rid of those bollard pipes in the middle of the trail that are supposedly there to keep cars off the trails. Sign it properly NO MOTOR VEHICLES and cyclists will keep the cars under control with cell phone reports, etc.

And almost everyone was riding an unlocked Class 1 or 2 E-bike that was going well past 30mph. If EVERY E-bike was banned tomorrow, I wouldn't lose a second of sleep. And, again, if you condone wearing earbuds while riding, you don't know what you are talking about. That's how people get hurt.@@southernebiking

Yes, I think it was $15 for a yearly pass, or $5 per day. They CLAIM to have trail stewards on the Mickelson, but I was on the trail 3 days from M-W and I never saw a single one in the 218 total miles I rode. Maybe they focus on weekends, IDK. In addition to the unlocked E-bikes, I saw a moped on the trail just south of Deadwood. I told the guy I thought mopeds weren't allowed (actually I knew that), but he said the Deadwood police department was okay with that. I don't think that was true, but that's what he said. I spoke to several of the E-bikers I met on the trail and I was told that it is easy to override the Class 1 and Class 2 limits on E-bikes and 3 of them admitted that's how they achieve faster than 20mph. It's frustrating, but without trail stewards there isn't much you can do about it. I only planned to ride the Mickelson once, so I won't be going back anyway. Problem is the problem is going to a lot of other trails. Makes it hard for traditional riders to stay safe. Oh well...@@kenmcclow8963

I was a victim of ebike bans in Southern California. A few years ago I built myself en ebike and rode it without problems for a long time. Getting my kid to school in the back, commuting to work 10 miles, returning to pick up my son, buy some groceries etc. I could spend weeks without needing to start my car. The same my other son, who was 13-14 at that time. I bought him a high power and high range ebike and he used it as a means of transport. He could make as much as 40-60 miles per day visiting friends, going to the skatepark, going to adjacent towns to hang out on the pier or have ice cream etc. He made around 8000 miles in one year and made a lot of friends with whom he was able to explore the area. This was our perfect time: no gasoline, no traffic jams, no noise etc. But then, suddenly, cops started enforcing ebike laws and instead of giving warnings or even some low fines ($60 or so) they started impounding the ebikes immediately. You needed to pay around $300 to get your ebike back. Kids were in despair because their daily routine, their friendships got cut abruptly. Many parents, including me, decided to factor in the cost of impound into the ebike usage, assuming no more than one impound every 2 months. So guess what... They raised the price to around $1500. So the kids started driving cars and the fun was gone.

@exmotech
@exmotech 3 ай бұрын
@@johnrob3215 The thing is that in the US ebikes are classified by speed, power and presence of pedals. The limits are so low that they basically convert a legal bike into a toy instead of something that might soon replace a car in warmer climates and short distances. If I were to be legal, my bike would be unusable for the most important thing which is replacing a car. So my bike is bigger, has really a lot of batteries, thick tires etc. I have around 100 miles of range. So I used it for around 3 years to go with my wife to the beach, take my son to school, go shopping etc. I used it not apart from a car but INSTEAD and this is probably a pain in the ass for the government (no registration tax, no fuel tax etc.). So one day I got stopped as I was dropping off my son to school and got a citation for operating a motorcycle because the officer assumed it is one. He immediately told me that if he assumed it's a motorcycle then I would be cited for not having a motorcycle license, cited for not having motorcycle insurance. A total of $1200. I am glad the judge thought that these assumptions are ridiculous and cancelled everything but you see the trend. The good things about ebikes is that they are quiet, don't release fumes and you can ride along the beach and people don't mind, you can go right down to the beach and people don't mind etc. But cops do mind. An alternative to a car is a big no-no because there's no money for the state.

I am glad you are doing your best to bring attention to this important matter. The one aspect that I did not see addressed was the fact that many of these types of accidents could have been avoided if municipalities would have invested in the proper infrastructure to enable safer riding. How many of us end up riding on the sidewalks because there are no bike lanes on the road? How many accidents have occurred where distracted drivers hit bicyclist on busy streets where there is no other way to ride a bike. I am seeing municipalities replacing their narrow sidewalks with multi-purpose paths which are wide enough to support bicyclist and pedestrians., but this takes money and often times other needs win out. So, it will take decades to get the proper infrastructure in place. Many European countries are way ahead of us on the infrastructure they provide. I recently visited Vancouver and was amazed at the fact that they have dedicated and entire car lane in the most congested area of the city to allow for bicycles & ebikes to travel in. It has reduced downtown traffic by 50% and the significantly improved their air quality. It was very controversial at first, but now everyone loves it. I think as more and more people adopt e-bikes government will have to take notice. It would probably be a good idea to get all government officials to ride an e-bike for a couple of weeks and then make their decisions.

Sounds to me like a misunderstanding of what e-bikes are. They assist pedaling, they don't replace it. You have to pedal an e-bike to get it going, and keep pedaling. The "e" in e-bikes just means it's a little easier. Here in Norway, at least, there is a 25 kmp maximum assist - after that the assist stops. Bikes and scooters that move entirely on their own using electric power are different. I can understand wanting to ban them from paths where typically people walk and bike in places where there are users who bike way too fast and don't show consideration for pedestrians. But e-bikes (the e-assist kind) should be allowed in all places where regular bikes are allowed. There are no real grounds for making a distinction.

Unfortunately, anything on 2 wheels, even if they have a gas engine, are considered ebikes by some people. (not suggesting the 12 year old wasn't on an ebike) The fact that a 12 year old was on the bike seems more relevant than the fact that it was an ebike. Not sure why they allow kids under the age to be able to hold a drivers license to have access to an ebike. The news article I just read on this accident stated the community is "fed up" with kids ignoring the rules of the road. The key word in the article was "kids" and "ignoring the rules" -- not what they are riding. I can count on both my and my husbands hands how many times someone on a non-ebike almost crashed into us going faster than they should, or not paying attention -- and this is on rail trails! There has been an increase of fatal accidents amongst cyclists here recently (see the latest video by BicycleDutch), but most of these involved cyclists being hit by motor vehicles, so the answer seems to be more infrastructure that separates cyclists from drivers. A lot of the fatalities involved e-bikes, and a lot of older people ride e-bikes, so there has been some discussion about how to increase safety, but a ban on e-bikes would be unthinkable, and I can't see helmets ever becoming compulsory either. Most Dutch adults have personal liability insurance, but this isn't particularly related to cycling. I pay about $5 a month for mine, so it isn't prohibitively expensive. And of course a lot of people insure their e-bikes against theft and damage anyway. The government and local municipalities are always looking for ways to increase cycling and reduce motor traffic, so a ban on e-bikes (or making helmets compulsory) would really go against this. They also recognise that the benefits of cycling, not just for the health of individuals but also for the economy and the environment, far outweigh the problems caused by accidents. That's a lovely cycle path you're on, btw. (One last slightly unrelated thing. As a European I find it crazy that any American politician should want to ban e-bikes from a place that is awash with guns, ownership of which is fairly unrestricted and which are actually designed to kill people. Maybe you need a constitutional amendment to say that the right of Americans to ride e-bikes 'shall not be infringed'.)

The only reason regulations will change here is because of people on stand-on scooters that don't have a care in their little minds for other pedestrians, as they zip down footpaths at high speed. There should be a group of people in every city that go after people on e-scooters that ride too fast and without even thinking of others around them, the're ruining it for everyone else that ride safely. My bike does around 35mph but I think I'm pretty safe as I stick to bike lanes and usually ride it off-road if I can, but it's cheaper than owning and fueling a car which is great for me.

About the throttle. They actually make a bike safer. Because you don't have a delay from so to start. That little jolt you get is actually a control risk. Many in the UK wish they could have throttle at stop lights and crossings because it allows them a more controlled start.

Liability insurance should be required regardless. Other countries in central Europe, you have home insurance, liability for bikes is included within it, to the tune of more than a million dollars. And that home insurance costs a mere 300 dollars per year. There's always a risk you could be involved in an accident, be it on an acoustic, or an electric, and the worst thing is you kill someone unintentionally and aren't covered for liability... or you yourself get killed or seriously injured and can't afford to survive during recovery. Then there's theft, fire risk etc. Ebikes are expensive, and definitely should be insured!
@southernebiking
@southernebiking Ай бұрын
I would agree they should be insured. I would disagree that it should be mandated that they are insured. The majority of the states here in the US have declared that class one class two and class three ebikes have the same rights and responsibilities as regular bicycles. That is where the problem comes in. It is becoming a majority of the E bikes out there that are really undefined. I have spoken about this over a year ago and advocated that they are called something else besides an E bike. Yet, here we sit. What can be done, and I would not disagree with it. Would be to not allow these undefined ebikes in areas that regular bikes are allowed. Thank you for watching. And thank you for a well thought out comment. Thanks for the video sir. Just subscribed or I might otherwise know your name. I live near Greensboro. I am an avid road and mountain bike cyclist. I love to ride roads, gravel roads, trails greenways and single-track. Not a fan of ebikes, "but" for some of the reasons you described, I get their purpose and place. I even purchased one (class 1) for my wife because she so much wished to go my pace on trails and greenways. Which now that she is happy I am too. ;-) As a very long time cyclist my thought resonate with the throttle idea. I would advocate that a 20 plus mph has no place on a trail or greenway with pedestrians, pets and children. I really don't get the whole "I need an ebike" to enjoy the tails or greenways. Why riding ones own pace on trials isn't good enuf is beyond me. Now, on roads (I also ride my non-powered road bike there) I think all restrictions for e-motorcycles should be off up to 35mph. (perhaps some age restriction) Moped style tag, no insurance required, power limit removed and speed limits observed. Bikes or e-motorcycles which exceed 35 should be viewed as a normal motorcycle with regs to match. Thanks for the vid and the helpful info. Stay on your elected reps, all!

Thank you very much for watching and thank you for the subscription Pat. We do appreciate it. My view on this is that class one and class two ebikes should be left. Exactly as regular bikes. Relatively simple to get up to 20 on a regular bike. We do observe speed limit on bike paths. I like the idea of using what is already been established as the classes because it would be less of a boondoggle in the political world. But I certainly believe that city leaders and politicians need to be made aware that there is a wide spectrum of E bikes out there. You got all the way from the class one up to these suron types that are capable of 50 or better. I think much of the problem as many politicians wanna throw blanket over every single one of them. That’s my main goal is to educate them so that when they close loopholes, because of the very fast ones, they do not close them around the neck of people that are just on class one and class to ebikes. Have a great day and welcome to the channel.

If she'd been hit by a car, would they be calling for a ban on cars? Insane knee-jerk reaction to propose a blanket eBike ban. I've watched the news report, minimal facts given, but the fact the kid had cuts and scratches while she died from her injuries suggests she wasn't wearing a helmet. No report on who had lights, reflective clothing, what speed they were doing etc. and presumably one of them was on the wrong part of the road. The e-bike industry has become perverted, Kids are stopping traffic in big groups, wheelie riding around and through pedestrians, and riding against traffic, not to mention riding on sidewalks at high speed. There are no real rules. I’m an e-bike (Type 2) rider and ride it to work daily.I also ride an 1800cc Touring motorcycle. I understand the rules of the road. Back in the late 70’s and early 80’s Mo-PEDS were popular but you had to have a license to do 15mph on them. I was passed by what I called a Super E-bike which had to be doing more than 50mph on Broadway (Major street), downtown San Diego. No helmet, or safety equipment at all and ignoring all traffic lights. These people will be ushering new laws and regulations because currently the ones in place are vague and not really enforced here. Kids are dying on these because the speeds are comparable to motorcycles and cars with no license or required vehicle equipment lights,helmets,etc… The genie is out of the bottle now and best believe “Big Brother” is going to want to get paid his taxes.

Throttles have nothing to do with safety. On a Class 2 ebike, the throttle can push the bike to 20 mph and no more. On an acoustic bike, I peddle to 25mph easily. And most of the time I go 20mph. Problem is that the police are not even enforcing hemets for kids. They don’t enforce laws that keep kids from riding double and even triple. They don’t enforce the laws that keep people from riding in the wrong direction. They don’t enforce the age limits on underage riding. A 10 year old should not be on an e-bike. So of course the answer is to ban all ebikes instead of enforcing the laws they do have.

I ride in Sacramento on the American River Bikeway. Class I and Class II are allowed. Lots of retired folks say that if all e-bikes were banned then they would not get out and ride. We are keeping track of the statistics of e-bike vs others colliding out here on the river path. So far the numbers are low 1 per year at most. However I see lots of fat bike users exceeding the 15 mph speed limit. That happens with acoustic bikes too. The main issue with any e-bike is that they often weigh double what an acoustic bike weighs and that is a concern when tangled riders tumble over one another. We will see what happens but I am in favor of e-bikes which are speed restricted. They should not be able to go faster than a lighter acoustic bike.

My wife and I are in our 50s. We used to ride regular bikes a lot but as we got older we decided to get e-bikes so that we can go further to explore. We enjoyed the ebike a lot as we don't have to worry about going too far and not being able to make it home. We usually end up with 60 - 70% battery even if we go 50 miles away from home. We primarily use it to assist when going up really steep hills. While on the bike trail last week there was a family on their fat tire ebike that was riding really recklessly on the trail passing other bikers dangerously and going very fast. On top of that none of them were wearing helmet. When I saw that I turned to my wife and told her that these are the folks that will eventually cause ebikes to be banned on bike trail. The video mentions about going away with the trottle, to me, the trottle is what sold me on an ebike. The trail that we ride on has quite a few stop signs and quite a few of them are at the bottom of the hill where the trail meet one of the small road. The trottle is a god send in areas like these. Just like those practising the 2nd amendment, just be responsible, don't ruin it for others.

The sad truth, she is many. Don't even recognize that the responsible ones are on. E bikes and I think ebikes are the only thing that are being irresponsible. I am also going to do a video trying to address that and brainstorm some ideas, so that the general public gets a better idea that there are very responsible ebikes out there. I think a lot of the problem is that people want to walk and sunday-drive on bike paths, missing the point that they're for transportation. Bicycling options have typically been so bad the last several decades that commuting cyclists have resorted to either biking much less or braving streets meant for cars. Bike paths too often do not connect well to one another or to quiet streets that can more safely act as thoroughfares, and bike lanes on busy streets are all too often death traps for the way they're designed. My point is that there would already be many more cyclists on roads and paths if infrastructure were safer and more extensive; and as a result, people in general would have a much better sense of designating spaces for walking and slow, leisurely biking versus getting-around biking. Regular cyclists do NOT peddle only ten miles per hour where infrastructure is good; they go as fast as cars, which is also the point of throttle assist. As such, pedestrians and languid cyclists should be aware and respectful whether the paths and lanes are for faster cycling. Paths meant for both walking and biking should be better designed to separate the traffic. All that said, I don't see anything wrong with putting speed limits on paths and lanes rather than banning ebikes. There should be no argument that many of the places where people complain about the ebikes, cyclists really should NOT be going as fast, precisely because there is substantial mixed or cross traffic. At the same time, specified lanes quite often should be more seriously considered, since these same routes quite often are among the best through routes in a community. Ebikes are not the problem. I could get into a gun comparison, but I'll leave it at that. Regulate speed (how they're used), not the vehicle, except for designating some types of ebikes without pedals as motor scooters of a different shape and capability.

Thank you for watching. And also, thank you very much for a very well thought out and articulated comment. I cannot find any disagreement with you. The only thing I would add would be that many of these communities, when faced with the choice of taking on the responsibility of a speed limit and enforcement. Versus the option of banning what they think the problem may be. Often works in favor of what is easier for them to do. I will bring up a bit of the comparison that you started too. Look at how many of the leaders would prefer to ban all firearms, rather than addressing the people that miss use them. Same thing with the bikes. And I am afraid it will be some of the same battle. Again thanks for watching.

I agree that heavier ebikes have made trails and paths more dangerous for lighter, slower classic bikes - and sidewalks more dangerous for pedestrians, partly because of poorly parked rental ebikes.

My 80 year old mom loves her e-bike. Cities should be embracing personal electric vehicles and adding charging stations.

I would think so as well. They keep pushing it out, and enjoy nature, save the planet. But you better not even think about being on an E bike. Thanks for watching.
