I've wondered why more companies don't take this approach - to make commercials a narrative and something that we might actually take interest in. Obviously, it's so much easier to achieve with humor and/or sarcasm. Hard to sell a luxury car with sarcasm? Maybe not. Either way, glad BOBO extends his creative abilities further than most!

I love that even if I drive to a trailhead I can stay out on the trails until like 3 mins before I have to leave, put it in turbo and zip back to my truck.

never heard a mountainbiker complain about uphill. Its only motor cyclists who complain to justfi their lame bikes. sport is fun. where is the fun öetting your bike ride you.

You know what that flat boggy traverse looks like after it’s been plowed through every weekend by groups of ebikers. At least own up to your damage and just admit you don’t give a shit about any other trail users. You only care about yourself, don’t lie to yourself. You know full well motors cause erosion you just don’t care because your selfish and self centred.

Caring what someone else did is the problem. I also have a dirt bike, ebike, and Amish bike. On all of them I ride to explore, the very idea that riding as an accomplishment or a challenge is alien to me, but, the difference is I know that others do, and I don't give them any shit for a difference in opinion.

I wouldn't call it an accomplishment but more of a mutual respect.

Damn bro, we just climbed 2k feet to get to where we are. That's not an easy task, I have respect for what you have accomplished. Both parties knows what it takes to get there, it's a journey so therefor respect is given both ways. So when you see an ebiker do it, you don't have that shared struggle, you don't relate to them, hence the dissonance amongst the groups.

You obviously don't care about the ideology of someone who gets out there just to explore, those people don't care about your climb, your struggle, your achievement, or that you are even there at all. They just want to see what's over the next hill and around the next corner. You don't value that, so you bitch about it. Meanwhile the guy on the ebike or motorcycle or whatever doesn't begrudge you anything, because it's not a dick measuring contest, it's getting out there and seeing everything you possibly can. I KNOW exactly what kind of rider you are, because most the friends I ride with are the same, into the climb, the struggle, the achievement, and I'm not. No matter if I'm on an amish bike or an E, I'm not there for that, ever. I am exploring, taking twice the time even though I can do it in half the time. I take pictures and hang out at overlooks, bring lunch and collect interesting rocks, take it easy uphill and bomb the down hills, taking side trails that get overlooked because the average rider knows they can't spare the energy. And why? Fun. That's my only goal. My friends just want to keep the grind on and get the ride in and go have a beer while they have their "mutual respect session". I have the world's best trails all around me in Colorado, no man ever born has the legs to see them all, let alone my own, and that is why it never bothers me that some people don't "respect" that. I have my own goals. Hopefully that highlights 2 (two) ideologies out of many for you.

Ive been harassed by faster riders going up climbs for over a decade before I rode an ebike. I dont see the difference in what the bike has to do with getting passed. Some are fit enough to pass quickly on a amish bike and you dont care about them doing the same on a climb? Also, what trails do you propose ebikers that are training, use to train? A totally different trail system? I can see it now, they make ebike specific trails and the amish riders complain they cant ride the trails lol.

@mutleyadamsracing2684 your missing the point. I have no issue with E-Bikers going fast. But those who ride your bumper impatiently, essentially trying to push you, are definitely in the wrong. It's not that this is a new issue. It's just that it's become a LOT more prominent. I understand that those training on an E-Bike want to keep speed, but that doesn't give them permission to be a jerk on the trail. You are still sharing the trail and should have to wait to pass. That is just the nature of sharing trails. The slower the object, the more control they get over the trail. Hikers will generally get out of your way almost instantly but they do have the right of way technically. Same goes for slow riders. They get to decide when you pass. If you're faster, you have to wait. There's no reason to push them. This is not inherently E-Bikes fault. But it is an issue with people. E-Bikes have jist made people like this a lot more prominent. Especially at downhill trail areas. It's less of an issue in my experience on cross country trails. I think one key difference is that people who have ridden Amish bikes for year have all been in that slower spot. They understand what it's like having people catch and pass you. Thus they have a better understanding of how it effects the rider being passed. A lot of people now on E-Bikes haven't had that experience and some of them don't even realize that riding someone's rear wheel is an issue because they haven't really been there. The issue isn't the trails. The issue is just people. Hence why I have no issue with E-Bikes. I actually love them. I was ecstatic that my local trails now rent them at the foot of the downhills because I can now bring friends. But, this impatient rider pushing people out of their way has become even more prevelant and it is a serious problem in some places.

Yes to some extent, but I can ride my EMTB just about anywhere whereas the motorcycle has to be loaded and taken to a specific location. I got rid of it.

@paulcartwright7228 not likely. I have been endurance racing for years. I can ride at race pace for 8 hours. I doubt that the battery on an e-bike will last anywhere close to my endurance level

@paulcartwright7228 again, I have a racing background. Unless the entire race is uphill, an e-bike will never get close to me on my epic. I can go faster on any flat sections because I don't have a cut-off speed, so I will already be up most climbs before the e-bike gets there. And I can keep pace longer than any battery will last

I also have an enduro bike which I do peddle, but after years of racing motocross bikes I didn't want anything with a motor. I decided to keep it simple. P.S. Love your channel and maybe we'll see ya on the mountain.
