It's unofficially a 4S bird, it's commonly run on 4S with that stock 40A ESC. The new Mustang from E-Flite with the exact same motor, ESC and prop has been officially made a 4S bird, the dev team has pretty much said all their 1.2M birds are 4S without mods.

I’ve been considering one of these for a while and the SAFE system is really useful for occasional flyers like me. That’s a nice looking Jug and it’s a good size to chuck in the car intact. I went and bought another Apprentice just to get the thumbs in gear before flying my warbirds again. Regret ever selling the first one. Parts backup is great with these E-flite planes too. You fly RC , you’re going to crash eventually. Great video! Subscribed.

great flyer. i love mine. im a newer pilot but have learned the hard way. the pane has safe but has safe SELECT also , meaning you can assign a switch to it whether you want it or not or bind it normally if not. please explain just a little better for our newer pilots so they dont go thru the same hassles i went thru. great video

That is a good point, one I obviously glossed over. Its hard to remember all the details we need to cover in a single shot video that is unscripted. We assume that if you like what you see you will research it a bit before you purchase it. We have gone into great detail on what safe vs safe select vs. as3x is in other videos. If we had to describe the same thing over and over in our videos each time we talked about safe we would have less meaningful content and more marketing jargon... that's just not us :)

This is one of the best flying P-47 and they discontinued it. Now I can’t get the ordinance for it. I need bombs for It. Any suggestions???👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻

Sweet great information, I’m thinking about replacing the stock Speed Control and adding the Spektrum 80amp Smart ESC to both my Horizon 1.2m T-28 Trojan and Horizon 1.2m P-47 Razor Back both BNF, do you think the leads will all be compatible with the new Spektrum ESC or will I need to order connector also? Cheers !!!!

What do u have to do to get the landing gear down? My bf has this plane and a dx8 remote and he cannot get the retracks down

Was there any offset in the motor prop alignment? I noticed in mine, a slight down and right tilt to that alignment.

I hate to say it, but that would not have helped. you should see the timber video, Wyatt needed to ask for help getting it out of the box. But don't let it sound like a complaint. I appreciate e-flite packed there planes so well.

Its often awkward on camera also because we don't open the box until we do it on camera so who knows what will happen! lol that's the joy of unscripted content.
