Thank you for describing your experience with Bell's Palsy, I went through the same thing in 2013 and it helps to see others talk about these challenges. Being unable to blink in one eye for weeks was terrifying - i had to use the gel type eyedrops that made everything blurry, I wore an eyepatch for months through it all. My DnD group at the time commented a lot about how uneasy my facial droop made them feel, but I still kept showing up every week with my patch, sometimes playing it for laughs. It's been 11 years and I'm at 95% recovery thanks to quick response and physical therapy
