Seems like a promotional video, underbody coating is all just hype marketing! It's not the manufacturers insisting you to do under body coats, it's the greedy dealers, they tell you many horror stories and push you to do this. Don't fall for their trap!! New cars does not require UBC for atleast 3 years, because the company manufactures the car to bear and withstand all conditions.! I never expected this video from birla!!!!!

Simple, iron rusts but not the rubber or plastic and it's a internationally proven that UBC's prevents rusting, and it's an optional one all over the world So it isn't a wrong with the video😀

Since I work in car manufacturing plant I do have some knowledge about how it's done. And i am not debating anything about not to do UBC. It's my opinion on UBC, just sharing. Do note that a car when Manufactured in Plant is made with, Galvanized Process on Cast Iron and Iron Alloys with Industry Approved Coating.. Galvanization is basically using advanced Zinc Coating on Car Metals. Zinc is what Anti Rust and these highly specialized coatings prevent car under-body from Rusting. Enough Protection done through Industry approved Coating Solutions by Car Manufacturer so that Car Under-Body, Doors, Boot, Body Panel do not get impacted by Rusting. Also, Galvanization is done with Rust Resistant Alloys to provide long lasting Output without any Corrosion atleast for 5 years!!

Here, they are just spraying rubber coating without removing complete rust (either through emery) . So it will again cause rust inside.

They applied the paint over the rusted/damaged part. How that is going to protect from further spreading? First rusted area to be cleaned and protection paint to be applied to stop further spread. Then only the under coat or other protection to be applied. If we paint over the rusted part the whole area will be rusted and will come out as one piece in time.

It depends, for non coastal areas, undercoat may not be required. Also there should be minor nvh improvement due to thick underbody coting

Bro Generally new cars bought not recommended by car companies as the new cars are already company standard coatings done, tested & then goes out for sale. If a car is used near to coastal regions, then this coating is mandatory. In general 5 to 7 years, company recommended coating is advisable.

After buying a car, seat cover, ppf, sun flim,, extra speaker change , driver hand rest, led headlight, dash cam , suspension pro, automatic door closing , ambient door light, wax polish, fire extinguisher, air stimulater, perfume, floor mat, 5d mat, glass and dashboard cleaner, vacuum cleaner, anti fog sticker, blinds spot mirror, gps tracker., air purifier etc etc etc. Good to have more and more, however have to pay more. I think, extra fitting never cover in the insurance . Your views on this?

If you inspect the underbody of your new vehicle say after 3 years you will find rust spots .Any paint cut happened due hard water washes or road chips cut the paint and Rust will creep in .My suggestion is you for a new car inspect it after one year and see for yourself then decide .but it’s always better to use a high quality paint as per manufacturers recommendation for extra protection This suggestion of underbody coat is good myself as a mariner I would go for it for I have the seen what high quality paint or an additional coat can protect saltish atmosphere and sea sprays at sea! The same would apply for dusty roads chips and hard water washes for the car !

Underbody coat is not at all necessary. 15?lacs koduthu nama car vangarome oru 2500 rupees ku company yen podala.These guys will apply coat for some of the parts which we should not apply if we really need underbody coat we can do with the dealers. This guy saying if something hits the metal it creates tear and rust will start yenpa coating pottalum paint tear agum if something hits the underbody. Namma alu Birla Remba vivaram polaye..

Hi Birla Parvi Sir. I have given my car for general service and asked them to check the condition of clutch and Suspension condition. Since the age of my car is 9 years.. They told that the condition of the clutch and suspension is not bad. I can change it in the next service. I took the car from the service. Now I can see major differences. (My car is running like a horse with full vibration). They are saying. If the car is taken into Ramp for the normal check. The suspension issue will be increased. Is this true? Note. I have seen any vibration before the service
