there seems to be a large space between the top of the tent portion and the bottom of the canopy. that might be fine for breezes in summer camping but feels like it might get cold when camping in the fall near shasta.

The shelter top overlaps the top of the Camping Cube and fits snugly around the sides to seal off that area and effectively eliminate wind flow through the top. You can also pair your Camping Cube with an E-Z UP shelter with a Professional-grade, high-denier top for additional comfort, especially compared to the thin nylon found in a typical tent.
