We went diving in Raja Ampat in December and we lived one of the best day of our lives!
Raja Ampat...The Last Paradise...The legend among the diving world.
Situated in West Papua province, Raja Ampat archipelago covers 1500 islands and shelters 75% of world's marine species. An incredible diversity of marine life, pristine coral reefs, manta rays, reef sharks, dolphin...a scuba diver's dream becoming true!
In December 2020, we booked at Papua Diving - Sorido Bay Resort and dove in Central Raja Ampat (Kri Island) during the holidays.
And it was incredible: wobbegong sharks, turtles, thousands of fish! On one dive we even spotted more than 30 manta rays!
But the best was yet to come...
With the help of the Sorido Bay's staff, Niels planned the most beautiful proposal...and I said Yes! 😍

Congratulations on the engagement! ❤️ Just a quick question, would you recommend diving in Raja Ampat for OWD certified divers with less than 20 dives? Thanks! xx

Thank you ☺️ I would recommend to do the Advanced Course before and get a little more dives under your belt. Diving in Raja Ampat is amazing but some dive sites can be deep or exposed to the currents and required Advanced Certification. It would be sad to go all this way and not enjoy the full experience ☺️

Kalau ke Raja Ampat jangan lupa sekalian singgah di Halmahera utk diving tidak kalah indahnya dari Raja Ampat soal pemandangan bawah laut yang sangat mempesona di dunia , tapi kalau bulan Desember itu di Indonesia adalah musim hujan
