Whenever I go camping, I stop at the closest walmart and buy a big deep cycle battery and then I hook up my 400w 120v inverter and power up the campsite. I usually camp for 3 days. Ill charge during the day with solar or use a car alternator. I return the battery on the way back home. Been doing this for years now.

I would imagine that you have to keep your car close by due to the excessive weight of a deep cycle battery. Our portable graphene-powered unit including the new solar recharger weighs a little over 10 lbs. Works great if you're hiking to a remote location, but still want power.
