This episode we leave Quobba station and head to Wooramel Station to soak in the naturally heated artesian spas and check out a really interesting paddock full of old farm relics.
From there we move onto Hamelin Station and take a drive out to the Hamelin Bay Stromatalites.
Next episode we are back on the coast in the Shark Bay region. Tiff fulfils one of her dream experiences - hand feeding a Dolphin. We take a boat tour to see dozens of wild Dugongs and then we have a poke around Francois Peron National Park.
Cheers!
Cam, Tiff and Chloe,

Good to see you safely home guys. Will continue to watch and tbh I actually prefer the camping type trips with a bit of other stuff thrown in. I personally have no interest in travelling for months at a time especially in the dry and hot but I understand how others love it. Give me a nice campsite near water or nice scenery with options to fish/wander as well as beer and steaks and I am completely happy. Thanks for the videos guys.

Hi Guys, thanks very much taking us with you for a couple months now. Assume you are now back at home with an bag of experience and a thousand thoughts of what to make better or different next time. For sure also the “plan the plan” for next time when ever that will be is allot of fun. Changing gear and modifying is another fun but expensive great hobby.... hope to see more of you in the future. Taking some ideas from your trip and experiences to be adopted in our prep is what I am taking from watching your episodes. All the best and keep the sunny side up! Cheers from about 8,000 km distance to you.

Enjoy your vids immensely...please keep them coming....before I retired due to ill health I worked in the dairy industry and I am a qualified cheesemaker....a bit of trivia for you....in W.A. especially in summer our dairy cows are fed on dry grains to supplement their food source....W.A. cheddar cheese would be quite chalky in colour, therefore they add carotene concentrate to give the cheese a more yellow texture....now we know where the carotene concentrate comes from....all the best to you and your family for the festive season....take care and keep well.

Love your vids not going anywhere. Question: Did you consider changing to lithium, apart from the price was there any other reason, and were you happy with the AGM batteries, did they do well when off grid. Cheers Dennis
@WildTouring
@WildTouring 3 жыл бұрын
I am running lithium in the canopy (200ah ALLSPARK LiFePO4's), which is brilliant. That's how I'm able to run microwave, oven, charge all my camera gear etc. Without ever plugging into 240v. I havnt changed the van to lithium because the 300ah of AGM are brand new and in good condition. I'm only running some LED lights, fans and one 40L fridge off that. So it's already overkill for our power consumption. Weights not an issue in the van either - fully loaded we were only using half the 1t payload. I'm definitely pro lithium. But the vans battery system keeps up with the demand so I wouldn't replace it until the batteries fail - which should be 3-5yrs. And by then I reckon we will have sold it for a bigger van anyway. But with the next van I'll get AC fitted and probably fit a lithium battery bank and solar array large enough to run it off grid 👍
