I took my ielts test yesterday. I was most nervous about my writing, but by using E2 writing strategy it went so well. @@erikk7807 sa writing ako nag focus kase yun daw pinakamahirap. Pero nahirapan din ako sa listening. Kelangan talaga Ng praktis. Iba iba pa Yung accent. Almost 2 months ako nag self review puro videos pinapanood ko tapos sumasabay ako sa video.

Parneet Bajwa Yes you can use the PPF method it works so well... I would suggest you to think on Past and present that should be enough time. No need to say that I am going to tell you 3 stories and stuff...just start with the past and finish on the present. Moreover speaking is all about talking at length...It is okay to go a bit off topic in 2nd task. Good luck

Just had my results back from 9th of May general ielts and thanks to E2 KZfaq , I managed to get 8.5 Listening , 8.5 Reading, 8.0 speaking and 7.0 Writing, I was already familiar with IELTS previously , but had it like 8 years ago, so for this one I used all the E2 online material and managed to get up to speed and nail the exam! If I had enough time to prepare, probably would have taken their writing courses!

@@sahreenshamim5051 official IELTS testing provider usually has this. In my country, there are British Council and IDP, both of them provide IELTS prediction test on their venue. If you are lucky, you can get one for free on special occasions.

@@manpreetsingh-jp3wc First attempt and i only took help from this channel and practiced in an online test website. Maybe called ieltsonlinetest.com or something, look it up. I practiced listening and reading from there. For speaking and writing, i followed only e2 advices to the book.

Here are my questions in the speaking test: what language did you learn? how did you learn it? what makes a language dominant? should we have one dominant language? how does learning a new language change your views or opinion? why do people want to learn a new language? how does learning a new language help an individual? And for writing 2 essay: Why is it important for famous people to maintain their appearance and clothes? What is your opinion? Cite personal experience. Provide examples.

Hello. I had my ielts test a fortnight back and got my results just yesterday. My test date was postponed twice owing to the covid situation and by the time I got the final date, there was barely any time left for me to refer to any study material as such. However, thanks to your amazing videos, I scored really well. Listening and reading - 9 Speaking - 8.5 Writing - 8 Overall - 8.5 I couldn't score higher in writing because I didn't get time to summarize my essay. Writing with a pencil can be really tedious. That's an important tip I'm sharing with anyone who cares to listen. :) Thank you very much for your videos. They are informative, very precise and extremely helpful. I've already shared this channel with all my friends and I hope everyone benefits from it as much as I did, if not more. Keep up the good work guys! :)

Thanks Jay! I just got 8.5 overall on IELTS Academic on my first try! Got 8 in writing! I used your trick to use as many complex sentences and uncommon words!!

@@Harmeetkaur-iw3hk 10 times ??? 😱 Well that really sounds like an exaggeration. First of all, people with absolutely no English background cannot learn from the scratch in a short period of time. If thats your case, you should probably consider doing something else. I have just given once and it felt easy. I am used to being around English

I was able to get 7 for writing in my first attempt by only following Jay's method for Task1 and Task2. Guys don't confuse yourself watching too many videos on youtube, just follow the structure that Jay recommends.Thanks Jay.

@@zilavichal8096 I watched all videos of jay regarding Task 1 and Task2 writing from their youtube channel playlist. And wrote down the essay structure and letter format he tells in each video.That helped me a lot. Orelse you will be confused to see all videos.

@@zilavichal8096 1. Prepare a pattern for your practise . Dont mix all the sections. Maybe try listening practice from youtube 1st. And check your scores and monitor how u r improving. Go through 1 or 2 videos of tips and tricks for listening and reading from utube channels. 2. When u r confident with listening, start practising reading. 1st listen to tips and tricks and then start taking test practise which are available in utube itself and don't forget to mark yourself by checking with the answers. 3.Follow all writing task 1 and task2 videos of jay and write down each essay format in a book so that you can refer later. One essay each day. And so are the letters. 3. Speaking also follow Jay's PPF method. Much easier to follow during the test day. Hope this works. Good luck.

Thank you so much for your service. I enrolled in free e2 IELTS course. I took IELTS academic test on 5th March. I had difficulty in listening and reading that's when I came across all of your videos. I thank e2 IELTS, specially Jay and Alex for your wonderful classes. I used PPF strategy in speaking. Your methods are unique and interesting. Today I got my results. My IELTS score L=8.00, R=8.50, W=7.00, S=7.00, OverAll=7.50 Scores. Once again thank you so much and I'm grateful

Hi, I just completed my IELTS test today. My topic for general writing task 2 was Do mobile phones destroy social interaction.agree or disagree ? I wrote about the advancements the mobile phones have brought to mankind and supported and explained this view in the first paragraph and wrote two lines and examples for how it has helped develop social interaction. In the second paragraph, I wrote how children have become lonely and have lost social life due to the use of mobile phones. I think I went a little off topic. I would like to ask in which portions will I lose marks and how badly this could affect my overall score? I think my grammer and vocabulary was pretty decent. Please respond. Thanks in advance.

Also for writing the answer in the answer booklet...this will not be required in the computer test ...am I right? So it saves time to revise????????? Please I need your advice on this

What kind of essay is this one? In some countries in Europe, some children from the age of 11 or 13 go to schools to learn more practical skills that will help them get a job. Other children stay in schools which provide a more general academic education. What should schools do to prepare students for the world of work? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Hi i have been following e2 method have given IELTS 2nd time following your method on writing unfortunately IELTS board saying its a wrong method n cut to my mark into 5.5 where as i followed the same method got 6.5 2 years ag ... my scores are this year listening-7.5, reading-6.5, speaking-7,writing -5.5 overall 6.5 which is quite sufficient for now my question is should i go for a review ? will that bring any positive or negetive impact on my result? how many days it usually takes to get the result? should i apply for masters with the result i have in hand for now as i am tight on schedule ? TIA
