If the story plot for this game was mixed with the graphics, new web slinging mechanics, fighting skills, spider sense, bigger buildings, larger map, and the different suits from the ASM2 game, then the game would've been WAY more better!!! Not that I'm saying it was crap, it was really good, I'm just wish game developers would use more imagination and creativity in Spider-Man games!!!

To those who are still asking for the name of the music for this trailer, it's "Entrapment" by Groove Addicts. Looking back at this trailer after rewatching the first two Andrew Spidey films in theaters, it's ultimate nostalgia!

The funniest part is that in the game, you still have to be around buildings to use webs. So it's still realistic without making you run in to buildings because your webs are stuck to buildings.

Seriously Bad Ass. Can't wait for this game to come out

I'm also a hardcore Spider-Man fan. So far, this is my favorite Spider-Man game. In my opinion this beats Spider-Man 2. Mainly because of the combat system and cool moves. The costumes are cool and the web-rush ability is genius. I just wish Manhattan was bigger and we can go to Roosevelt Island. The visuals/graphics needed polish. I also wanted to play as the other cross-species villains including the Lizard for free-roam. It would be cool to have a challenge mode like in Batman: Arkham City.

I decided to replay this game on my old Xbox 360 and, wow, its exactly as it's shown. More so from a graphic stand point.

This game has been in developement for 2 years. It's a regular game that just shares the universe with the movie, the story is a sequel to the movie. And by the way, it's an awesome game.

Yes, in the future sequels that will inevitably be released, I hope they will at least add an option or a difficulty setting for webs to stick to buildings. Maybe then we'll be able to see if it works well or not with the newly implemented close up camera.

It's been described as the same game, just without the free-roaming in between missions. Apparently it still has huge levels to explore around and stuff, just not a full and open city.

Yeah creators of the game said in an interview that the game will have different costumes so hope peter is one of them and also if you pre-order the game from amazon.com you can play as stan lee but if you pre-order the game from gamestop you got special mission where you got to rampage through the NYC with rhino so that's gonna be amazing

You do have a point. This is by far the best combat and gameplay mechanics and features I've ever experienced in a Spider-Man game. I already got all the achievements before mid-July and I got it on launch day. I wish there will be a DLC where there will be more side-missions and extra playable I also want the Stan Lee and Rhino challenge on XBOX LIVE already! What the hell is taking them so long to give us a DLC for this great game? What do you want in a DLC for this game?

no, spiderman don't stick them to buildings, he shoots them in air which allows him to swing while they are being extended because the speed/velocity(/someother random science term that fits in here) they going up compensate for his weight pulling down. real touchy science :D

I believe so... its next to the second scorpion bossfight where you fight him in the city and the city is covered with some kind of green fog

For example, in ultimate spider-man, I could press the web swing button and my strand of webbing would attach to a building. From there, I could either jump forward to continues going straight, or hold on to the strand and it would make me swing to the left because of the angle. It actually felt like I was shooting strands of web at buildings and swinging from them. In Web of Shadows, however, the web swing button just felt like "press to fly", you know?

The game is coming to PC....but not in June. The date hasn't been announced nor have any of the details about it other than that it's coming. I suspect the PC version will have free-roam too, but I didn't mention it in that post because nothing is certain right now.

There's a way to change the time of the day but the time of the day doesn't cycle though it stays at what you choose. (must beat the story first).

Because when the webbling sticks to buildings, the swinging feels way different than when it just sticks to the sky. Go play The first spider-man movie game and then play Ultimate spider-man or spider-man 2 and then come back and tell me it's the same.

This is still my Favorite Spider Man game next to Web of Shadows and Marvel’s Spider-Man🕷️🕸️🕷️ I still have the Xbox 360 version 😅

Some other playable characters with different mechanics would be nice. The Stan Lee DLC is just a reskin for dpidey and the RHino challenge is just a 30 second to 1 minute dash smashing cars. I tthink we should see Black Cat as a playable character with infiltration and theft or vigilante missions, seeing as how it was hinted that she got her powers in that photo mission.

Unfortunately you cant free roam in 3ds version. Dont know about wii. Xbox 360 and ps3 versions you most awesomely can. And PC version will be released later on.

Nothing has been announced for the PC version, so no I didn't. We don't know if it'll have free-roam yet.

10 seconds in, I realized I'd seen this trailer when IGN leaked it. So I kept watching and it's still just as exciting.

I miss those times my first Xbox 360 game And much better than the second game 😁👍 curiosity this game would have more Villains that were cut from the final version Are they: Kraven Human,Vulture,Doc ock,Morbius and Man-Wolf All of them cross-species + an alternative ending where we would face an entire city infected and people transformed into reptilians/Lizard and Iguana versions like the same thing was with Web of Shadows the city taken over by symbiotes only that this time with reptiles And we would be going to hunt and fight the lizard in the final battle and Alistair Smythe would die A pity that this version was not used at the end of the game but even so this game made my childhood 🤔🥺😭 like and bye!
