It takes a while but its worth it, fill the tubes with sand so it cant kink, its a fixed volume, water wont let it heat properly. Tape the ends off the filled tube so the sand doesnt spill, for me when i used it, it took more time so i was able to make sure i did it correctly and didnt want to have to do it again. Side note, love your vids and its given me an inspiration on the details i want to include in my future builds

To stop the tube kinking, fill it with sand packed tight and the ends blocked then bend it under hot water, all bends will be 99.9% better, give it a try. Just found your channel, big thumbs up for your build

cool build dude,the wagon is gonna be awesome!👍i recently did a styrene cage in my brute build,was fun to do...yours is looking good..i found heating it up slighty with a butane torch helped make some nice bends..to much heat it will melt and distort so you gotta find the sweet spot....i also found using a dye to make consistent bends.just takes practice..i scrapped the first one and made a second that i was super happy with..good luck with the build👍👍

Good vid. A tip though . Use tamiya super thing glue, it's like a liquid. Then cut tiny pieces of styrene and drop them into a little container of the glue . Mix it a bit and it'll turn into a paste then use a brush a paint brush to apply it to the joints. Its turns out in a welded look.and fills the gaps, I have done it many times .

In high school we had a perspex bender.. it was like a bar heater mounted inside a structure so you could sit the perspex on top and once pliable you could begin bending/ folding.. But this might not be feasible

You could try using a spring bender. I know it works for metal tubing, but not sure about the plastic. You need a tight spring to the diameter of the material you are bending, but it will keep the tubing round.

I know with bending conduit pipe there's a bending spring that you insert into the pipe, if you could find a spring similar and to scale, that should work?

Try to put salt or some sort of fine grain inside while bending so it doesnt kink the piping and heat gun. Try it out 👌🏼

Fill your styrene tube with sand and tape the ends up before you heat and bend it. That helps it hold its shape.

we use a heat blanket to soften pvc conduit to bend it for electrical work. i don't know if it work for styrene.

get a type of nylon filament and print connectors for the tubes .... or print the frame
