Woooow, this is fantastic video, I have just fixed my defy Washing machine , I did not replace the sensor though, I just cleaned it with Methylated spirit, then boooom, it spinning 24/7 I am extremely grateful for this video

I had to remove the drum assembly and upside down to get something out of it, In order to get the assembly out I disconnected the harness, but now I don't know if I reconnected it correctly. Thank you for the video, normally the error message for a door switch is (dE), funny thing is research on the Internet state it is a object between the agitator and basin. Strange that defy uses e6 for that fault.

Hi, thank you for the insight. i have tried the second method as i can't afford a new part at the moment, it worked on 2 loads then did the E6 error again, i re-opened it again and did as per your guidelines but it refused to spin again, even now as we speak it still gets stuck on the E6 error at 3 minutes. I bought my machine the 29 June 2023. I am not impress by this machine I want to advice if you want to buy Defy reconsider another top loader. Very time consuming takes 3 hours on a 47 min cycle.
