I couldn't find a how-to on there carbon lip installs, so i decided to make one.

Fantastic job, love your work and thanks very much for sharing and making it easier on the rest of us. One question and forgive me if I missed it in the video: those body pins look really nice and flush...what was the reason you didnt use them on the entire lip instead of screws? Not strong enough?

They are pretty strong, but IMO not strong enough for the sides. The middle is supported by the factory bumper structure, the sides needs the screws to suck the carbon flush. The screws make much smaller holes

That looks super clean! Did you have any issues with your front cameras or sensors? I had body shop send car to MB for sensor recalibration after front bumper removal. MB charged 2k! I didn't really care cause it was insurance job but thought it kinda made sense.

That's the one option my car doesn't have . 360 camera. I believe the calibrations is easy, but I think they use a big mat on the ground with marks on it for the camera? It's all xentry

Just to confirm, those screws are going through the carbon lip and into the actual bumper right?

Did it originally have the plastic screws? The carbon fiber lip didn't come with pre-fit holes? I'm wondering of O can also install one of these on my post face-lift E350 Sport.

No pre cut holes. I believe they make one for your car, but it's different from the e63 bumper.

@@ExoticCarDIY True. The W212. I have a current AMG E63 S but, want to replace the Chrome lip on my Older E350 Sport. They do. I don't want anything AMG aggressive or just aggressive. I'm just going to replace the 3pc Chrome small lip with the same in black. Very few sources sell that and none in carbon fiber.

Curious if you have ever installed RW Carbon pieces? Or any other carbon pieces from EBay? I own the exact year make and model car and wanted to do the same piece up front, mirror covers and a deck lid spoiler all in carbon. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Where are you located btw, thanks 🙏

NE Florida. My friend has the exact same car as well and bought the RW carbon spoiler. We try to install it, but the fitment was poor. He ended up sending it back. For three times the cost of an eBay spoiler, I expected a lot better. The only other experience I have with RW is just some reviews online where the rear diffuser simply didn't line up. This person reported they sent it back as well. Anyway, it sounds like hit or miss, but their pieces are supposed to be good quality. I think the mode brand spoiler is the same as the RW. Anyway, I was looking at RW mirror covers as well, might be worth a shot.

I've also tried three different eBay spoilers. The first was a high kick lip, but it's fitment is poor, then I got a ring tech knock off, which fit perfect and looked extremely high quality. However it had a couple fingerprints in the clear. I ended up getting a replacement for the high kick at a discount so I just kept it
