E89 2011 BMW Z4 35i- Catless downpipes, stock cats/piping, Varex valved mufflers

Of course I couldn't leave well enough alone, especially when it comes to exhaust! Had two Varex 2.75" internally valved mufflers that came off a Mustang, that were just sitting in my garage collecting dust. Did a little mockup and they fit perfectly, so of course they had to go on!
Pure DD stage 2 turbos, custom relocated inlets, PSP outlets, VRSF race intercooler, VRSF charge pipe, and AR Design catless downpipes, stock exhaust piping/cats, dual Varex 2.75" valved mufflers
Chapters:
00:00- Cold start
00:36- Warm start
00:40- Revs
00:52- Acceleration, away
01:04- Acceleration, towards
01:09- Final revs

Thanks! Unfortunately the mufflers were bought second hand and are actually for a Mustang specific setup made by Varex. Would be pretty hard to reproduce the setup exactly like this!

I have the 437m wheels on my single turbo e89, I've been wanting some 513m wheels but can't find any lol Car looks great

I actually love the look of them, but to my understanding they crack VERY easily!

any clips showing the sound difference open vs closed on the varex mufflers?

At the time I didn't have the switch hooked up. This clip is with the mufflers open, closed is much quieter. I have run the switch since so I can retake to show the difference.

There is no v6 made by bmw its only inline 6

Sounds nice af. Is that wastegate rattle I'm hearing or am I trippin?

It's something loose on the exhaust... gotta track it down.

@@Dope.And.Pretty with aftermarket turbos its common to have a slight rattle, as long as it seals/boosts you're good. Hopefully just a loose clamp on the exhaust tho lol. Z4 is the ultimate sleeper 😎🔥

@@silver_n5442 You got me a bit worried about it so I did a little more research. Pretty sure it's just a rattle somewhere on the exhaust. It doesn't sound at all like the example wastegate rattle I've heard and really is only apparent on initial take off as the clutch engages and the car starts moving. It's also much more pronounced than the other wastegate rattle I've heard. Gonna have to go hunting soon as I can hear it with the top down and it's driving me crazy now!

@@zlover7777 I assume you're referring to the valve in the passenger side muffler? I thought this originally as well, but since removing it the rattle is still there.
