Clem! Fantastic drummer! FANTASTIC! You can get caught up just watching him and all of the little things that he does that most people might not even notice... Bun E Carlos (Cheap Trick) was also like that - an amazing drummer and very entertaining to watch closely... I remember seeing Clem years ago (up close!) at a few smaller clubs in and around the Detroit area when he was playing with The Romantics (Wally, Coz, Mike & Clem)... I never thought of him as replacing original drummer Jimmy Marinos... Clem brought his own style and powerhouse drumming (OMG - he played so POWERFUL!) to the band! They would open with "When I Look In Your Eyes" - and Clem would start off - just beating the drums like his life depended on it....... The Romantics ROCKED! Very raw sounding... Again, Clem is a FANTASTIC drummer! Hope to keep hearing more from him..........actually, I see that he and Coz are rocking with The Romantics again......... NICE! VERY NICE! By the way: My brother and I saw The New York Dolls at the old Michigan Palace in Detroit - 1974.... The Dolls were so loud they blew out the sound system! Of course, Jerry Nolan was great - a solid drummer himself also fun to watch (loved the pink drum kit!) - even when playing with the punk Dolls............ Clem, Bun, Jerry - these guys know how to play!!!!! The real deal............
