BTW Neal, you can move the controller icons a bit lower. The base of the controllers aren't necessary so you can have them cut off at the bottom of the screen. I remember the position of the controllers was mentioned in a previous video as a minor issue.

Nevermind all these attacking tutorials, I need a solid, detailed, in depth defending tutorial with custom tactics that actually work, as the previous ones I've tried aren't doing anything for me. Played my first 6 online matches this morning and got beat horrifically in the first 5 matches. 10-3 then 10-3 again then 9-2 then 8-3 then 6-2. On my 6th game I guess EA felt a bit sorry for me and put me up against a very poor player, I scored 3 goals in the first 15 minutes and he quit. Need a detailed defending tutorial big time.

This was a great video to watch. I've only started playing Clubs in FC 24. However, our ANY play is struggling to string some passes. So, I was hoping to see if you could do a passing vid if possible. Or, if you have any quick pointers now. I never do the ANY for Clubs, but may try it out this year. 👍

I am having exactly the same issue!! There's always very little passing options.. if I pass to a team mate who has an opponent behind him, the opponent will simply run around and intercept most passes! Driving me mad ! Lol also trying to pass to a team mate and it just automatically passes it straight to defending team.. I think a few patches are needed to sort this and the finishing.

Hi, have been following your videos since '21 and have learned a lot. I'm very bad at dribbling in this game against CDMs and CBs with high strength (like icons). Even if I try to dribble into space, I get pushed so bad that I loose the ball and my player falls. What can I do about that?

Alot if times when dribbling I've noticed players can still tackle from your side, especially when they have high rated defensive stats and makes it hard to dribble

they made fifa 23 based on right bumper dribbling which made it harder to be good compared to left stick dribbling on 22 which was THE EASIEST now on 24 we’re back to left stick dribbling. players move more realistic though but 23 dribbling was elite

I guess we have to learn the hard way!! I can't drible shit, lucky for me i won my 1st rival match. Than i decided to go try the Evo friendly match for the objective. Man it was a beat down i didn't expect lossing my 2 games 6-1 4-0. I felt like i was back in kindergarten. I definitely need some tutoring.

I would recommend just simply have taller defenders around 6'1 and higher also to clear it I would use the O button

What they need to fix is defending for real And the left bumper to make creative runs or directional runs, doesn’t always work on the Nintendo switch. It’s a bit laggy or something man or like I am it to the player I want to make the run. I press the left bumper on the Nintendo switch the guy sometimes moves. Sometimes he doesn’t it’s a hit or miss and then the little green lions don’t come up , I have the little green liens activated van to show up on the field, but yeah defending the they need to fix it

For me it doesn’t work. Even if I don’t sprint, my player just go straight, they don’t start doing weird stuff, if I move the analog randomly, it will just go to the direction I’m putting. I don’t know how my opponent make those weird stuff, even if i stay still and block the pass, they will just start shooting from where they are or just go around my player. Even if I try to stick into the position, my player will just get passed in sprint by anyone, even by Giroud. It’s just frustrating.

They really should fix finishing. The goals i miss with Mbappe are ridiculous. A complete contrast to how 23 was. Its very difficult to adapt to changes so vital such as finishing. Any little mistake in bending the left stick and your shot goes wide wide. Like you say, Disgaceful finish indeed.

I hate that fifa has gone this direction. Used to have to really string passes together in your build up to score.m but now you can just zig zag dribble and score. Most unrealistic thing ever. Impossible to defend it since your defenders aren’t agile enough to keep the opponent infront of you. Broken franchise now sadly

It's not working man at this point I have tried everything all the techniques it's not working against anyone. I like to play seasons I'm not a fan of ultimate team and in seasons I've not won a single game the gameplay is too fast. And everyone plays with real Madrid which is too overpowered
