Do you have Windows 11 loaded in a SD card ? I thought Windows 11 did not work due to the anticheat in the es app.

Hey TA, thanks so much for covering this one. I changed the page size and buffer size as per ypur video, and i still get random stuttering/speed up and slow down. Its almost as if the Steam Deck is throttling. Any idea why?

Do you have framerate limit on ? Put no limit

@@TA_Tech no frame limit - what fixed it for me was bumping up GPU clock to 1600mhz, TPU to 15W and Max battery profile in SteamDeckTools. Can run on high with a occasional stutters or 100% stutter free on medium!

The game works well for me, but I get a lot of graphical glitches, especially with the hair. Like the players have confetti in the hair. Sometimes there a bright flashes of light during gameplay as well.

actually. you have to restart the game in order for the gfx settings to take effect. going from low or medium to high and NOT restarting has no effect on the graphics nor the fps. but on restart you might get a bad surprise with way less fps.

Make sure u change uma and Paging Memory like I showed. I have windeck drivers installed which should be the latest from valve.

@@TA_Tech hey, I found a work around, and just launched ea app on steam as a non steam game (rather than downloading ea app separately and launching it that way) and then played it through steam almost, that seemed to fix my issue.

So virtual memory 10gb? Uma buffer 4gb? No Frame rate limit turned on? Did u try the game offline to make sure you are not getting packet loss

@@TA_Tech i did try all those things and no matter what the game still freezes for like 10 seconds sometime. Im getting really smooth gameplay and then it freezes completely. While it happends the audio keeps running as usual.but the gameplay freezes

No, it's because you have yo do what I did in the video to get it to run on a stable 60fps. Changing virtual memory to 10gb and changing uma to 4gb. And I guarantee you a smooth experience. I don't understand why the other youtubers posting it lagging without even saying what the fix for that is.
