The commentary in 2003 was legendary . Even the arena announcer said funny stuff post period . One little graphic design I noticed thats often missed between 2001 ,2002 to 2003 was the crowd …yes still flat cardboard cut outs but in 2003 they would stand up and cheer when home team scored every time and also if home team got a break away they would stand up also in excitement of breakaway chances . Plus in playoffs most of them would wear white jerseys (Phoenix would have the white out) not huge things but i like these kind of details in hockey games .

I can't wait for the NHL 2004 video! It's just like NHL 95, how it is a huge mid generational leap from the last game! When we get to 2004, we're going to see how much different it is from 2003!

Unpopular opinion: This NHL video game is so CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED IMHO! I freaking love NHL 2003 and one of best parts of the game is the commentary team of Jim Houston and Don Taylor, so FUNNY and UNBELIEVABLE! They brought back the NHL cards feature from the previous installment and it’s better than ever with the addition of cheats and easter eggs! And I’m probably one of the few people who love the gamebreaker meter in the game! It’s so much fun and replay value than today’s NHL video games! We more people talking about this game soon or later! I miss the old EA Sports so much! #MakeSportsVideoGamesFunAgain

Also, where is AWOLNATION - Battered, Black & Blue (Hole In My Heart) from NHL 21 in the NHL GOAT playlist? When the NHL 21 soundtrack was revealed, it was probably the least hated song in the playlist, and some even said it reminded them of the old days of NHL soundtracks! It's easily my personal favorite song from the NHL 21 soundtrack! Otherwise, great playlist you put together! There are some picks that are weird, and some notable songs missing, but it's in overall a pretty solid playlist.

I actually liked the 21 playlist for the most part but I suppose its an acquired taste 😄 22 has the best one since 06 tho.... LOOK AT ME NOOOOOOOW!!!!!

I'm guessing he got access to 22 stuff earlier than expected and doesn't have time to finish? I think he's recorded more games, I thought I saw him tweet about playing NHL 11 or 13 or something like that.

Yeah I would have loved to see the rest of the games especially 04 and 07 maybe he will continue the games after 22 dies down

I do like the cards. It was fun to have a match with a rubber puck. It’s not something I’d always do. But it’s options that we don’t have today.

It is Slow!! I can't believe the "weak speed BURSTS & MOTIONS 😬. I'm older close to 50 & finally 22 yrs later I get it for $9 & I hate it like GRETZKY'S 06 !! I CAN REALLY ONLY SCORE W ONE TIMERS & WRISTERS R TOUGH TO ACCURATE SHOOT. OH WELL BETTER I BUY IT NOW THAN 22 YEARS AGO WHEN IT WAS 50 OR $60 BRAND NEW LOL
