Dalton Smith Not really, because there's a lot of ways your career can go, you can run out of longevity before you get a title fight, you can enter into TUF instead of instantly going to the UFC, You can probably NEVER make it to the UFC, you can get cut from the UFC, there's soooo many ways your career can go 😂

Theres no balancing robota and barely any physical modelling in this.. most games don't even use air modelling for their airplanes they dont "swoop" .. i'm working on games that use all physics all the time.. ill need testers soon

Wassup bro. Just a little feedback. For the longevity, unfortunately, yes; grappling and jiu-jitsu often equal longer longevity. I tried this by doing like judo and jiu-jitsu guys in career mode, then i rolled strikers like muay-thay or kickboxing. Most fights ever was 38 fights in UFC 2 with a jiu-jitsu guy, the strikers barely ever got over 32. So yeah, me too man, being a striker, I wish they d fix that longevity thing.

I would like there to be a striking skill type of stat, like the lower it is the more obvious the wind ups for strikes, and a slightly slower recovery from missed strikes

I know this is old but I’m still playing this game. I’m trying to play EVERY weight class (from start to the end of story) as well as each fighting style. (Yes, a heavyweight submission specialist) My play style is I like to play on the ground and make ppl tap out because I believe the MAJORITY of online players, as soon as they go to the ground, they will PANIC. And vice versa. I play to my strengths as well as everyone else’s playing their strengths as well but if you’re a striker, you’re the best player and if you’re on the ground, YOU’RE SCARED. That’s why I feel like players who like to play on the ground (like us) are being disrespected. It’s sad.

I was thinking the same thing, I am not a fan of the animated knockdowns, with ragdoll knockdowns it feels so much more satisfying when you drop your opponent & looks much better in my opinion. Also, they apparently added ragdoll ko's but I am not seeing much of it, I feel like I see more animated ko's than ragdoll ones. I really wish EA would fix this. Another thing is they really have to make it so we can jump on the opponent & be able to go for the kill during a knockdown, when we you drop someone in this game, you aren't able to pounce on them you just have to wait a couple seconds for the knockdown animation to play before you can continue striking. Hopefully these things are changed.

I think the wrestling shots in the next game need a overhaul to make them feel more fluid and scrambly. They planted the seeds with the takedowns leading to the cage. We need singles and doubles to really move people across the octagon because the person's trying to maintain balance and the other is driving/pulling/lifting and maybe even some DC trips and tosses like the la bamba (aka lat drop). The grappling has the potential to be great it's already pretty good I've noticed once you get to the ground it's pretty fluid if both people are really fighting for a position. It seems harder to hold people down which I like. But we need more scrambles!!!

That power hand body hook could come in handy if you wanna mimic Nick DIaz when he gets someone against the cage. Jab into repeated hooks to the ribs to bait and land a head hook(check hook maybe) when you pressure against the fence

Hey martial, not one to really give advice but if you wanna play on that harder difficulty you gotta tighten up those combos and keep a little shorter, bait the opponent in and counterstrike. This is how I usually play a striker. Hope it helps, keep up the great videos

Martial, on your second fight you were confused about how to execute a submission attempt. In order to attempt a submission your oppent either needs to have a top mount position on you and you can hold "L1" and it will give you a "guilotine" option I believe. Another way you can attempt a submission is when youre on your oppents back transition to "back flat" and you can attempt a rear naked choke.

Best way to win is to hit him while he's doing an attack, throw in something faster or Dodge like a head kick and uppercut him. Works every time. After every strike he does his stamina will go down so when you hit him at low stamina it does that stun attack or whatever it's called.
