EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015 Video Highlights

More than 10,000 aircraft and half a million people made EAA AirVenture Oshkosh one for the books. “The depth and variety of our features and attractions ensured something for every aviation enthusiast. The Spirit of Aviation is strong and the culture of EAA was on full display all week,” EAA Chairman Jack Pelton said.

Awesome show.... 56 years old now, first time was in 1966 at Rockford before EAA Oshkosh existed. Greatest father son experience of my life. Dad took me, I took my son. The whole family went. Greatest place on earth to be in July/Aug.....

Had a great time at Oshkosh 2015! This was our second Father-Son trip to AirVenture. My 9 year old son carried his tickets in his school folder half the school year he was so excited. Looking forward to returning.

I am thirteen and have gone to air venture for as long as I can remember. I love the aspect of everyone getting together and celebrating aviation. Can't wait for #osh16

Brilliant show this year. Traveled from the other side of the Earth on the longest commercial flight available (Sydney-Dallas) -a long LONG time in economy (coach) but would highly recommend AirVenture Oshkosh to anyone thinking of going in 16

OK it is now an official goal of mine. 2016 I WILL be at Oshkosh!!! So, who else in the Pittsburgh PA area wants to plan this out with me?

Yeah, 2015 was great ! - Have to say though, haven't seen a year yet that I didn't like...yet. (some years are wetter, some years are hotter! This years Oshkosh was just plain perfect and the weather was done acting up on Friday before the event...) So yes, looking forward to 2016 !

Hope to fly my ultralight there someday... but until I am retired I don't think I can take the month off to make that happen!

@2'30" we see a canard control pusher aircraft at rest on its nose. Why is this?

+Hazel Fish Because without the pilot and passenger in the aircraft its tail heavy (that's where the engine is) and could flip backward and damage the prop. So they retract the nose gear and park it on its nose. A little strange but that's a design characteristic.
