welcome back to another sims 4 build challenge everyone!! in today's video we are building a house in the sims 4 but every room is a different pack i CANNOT use. this confused me at first too but basically we have to capture the vibes of the pack we roll and make it look like we used it... without ACTUALLY using anything from that pack!!

You're not missing out 100%. I got every single pack (except the star wars one because I just don't like it) and honestly, yes you get more stuff but a lot of stuff really look alike or I never really use. Especially a lot of the game packs include gameplay that's rarely even used, not necessary or just glitchy as heck. All the packs together is just so expensive and the only ones that are a MUST HAVE for gameplay in my opinion is cats & dogs and seasons

the only packs i really use in EVERY SINGLE BUILD is vamires, highschool years, cottage living and the blooming rooms kit. idk what kind of styles y’all like to build in but imo these are the only packs that are worth it in my opinion.

The sims creators naming the items weird names is so true. You can never find the thing you are looking for. This seems like an easy thing for them to be able to fix.

Challenge: building a house with only unlockable items (like from jobs/aspirations/skills etc.) I did this and it was so challenging to make it look good (also it’s helpful that ‘unlocks’ is a filter in the catalogue)

the way i've been screaming about the search function for items in build mode for YEARS though. If they could just add a couple keywords in the metadata for each item that would go a long way in letting us actually find the things we need. Like they could still call the towels "pyramid of absorption" or whatever, as long as they have "towels" as a searchable keyword we'll be good to go. source: I'm a digital preservation librarian and I work with metadata every day sims team plz hire me

Please this would be so helpful, some items have crazy names making it impossible to find ESPECIALLY if you need to find specific clutter like kitchen clutter 😭

This is the first video I've watched of this chanel and I absolutely love it! This is such a fun challenge and kinda shows you dont have to have a certain pack to still get the vibes of it. Love all the designs. Gosh that ball pit must have taken forever 😅 🦋

Hi Sarah Kendall I’m a new subscriber to the channel! And I have a challenge for your next video. you have to spin a budget wheel & a time wheel + colour wheel! For every room in the houses and you only have 2 skip passes if you don’t like what the wheel landed on!! & if you want it to be difficult you can add sims pack generator

Challenge: Make a Sarah Kendall home! Use all of your favorite packs and clutter. Then roll for packs you have to delete from the house and replace it with something else. I would roll for elimination packs all at once so you only have to re-do that house once. Good luck!

I don't know if you've done it, but with James Turners random pack generator, you select 5 packs and have to build a house with a story out of the packs generated. Ie you get werewolves, parenthood, tiny living, snowy escape, nifty knitting and you have to make a family of knitting werewolves who moved to/live in a tiny home in Mt. Komorami
