Captain drone- You deserved receiving the prototype EC-135! You are unbelievable professional, funny and sympathic! I love your Idea using "the mini" its fun and a great addition to the normally"dry" test-u-tubes.. And on top of all you love artwork dekorated christmas trees!! Like our family in germany also does celebrate every year. Once when visiting friends in Calgary I remember going " Christmastree-hunting"... Peter from Germany

Hello Steve, awesome production on the opening montage. I swear your looking pretty professional. This chopper really seems to be pretty good for a beginner set up. I've always wanted to fly a helicopter and even had a cheap little completely no frills. No electronic aids and it was pretty tough to get good at so I was always afraid to invest in a bigger one as I thought I'd be crashing it too much. But this looks great. You can start out on easy mode and turn everything off as you get better. Oh yeah I gotta ask "stabbed myself in the arterie?!?" I thought you were gonna explain at the end as you seemed to be pointing it at the camera when you said, "one more thing." You gotta explain I've been going through a bunch of different scenarios in my head.😅😂 hopefully it wasn't too traumatic to explain.

It costs $398 to buy one for an Australian such as myself. That's a lot of money for the average Aussie. It seems that flying remote control helicopters and planes has become an elitist hobby these days, which is a real pity.

RC helicopters and airplanes have always been very expensive hobby. if anything, they got way cheaper and affordable in recent years, due to popularity of drones, which drove down price of remote control components. single axis piezo gyro alone costed several hundreds dollars 20 years ago.

Steve do you know of a remote ID system one could just plug into the 5v port, I guess it would have a remote ID with GPS, as you know starting in September in the US a problem us rookie pilots and regular qualified faces. Love the video great job.😂

so... Eachine (aka RC Era, Modstar, G-Force, FliteZone, etc) seems to have 3 EC-135 based RC helicopter models. C187 and C159 , seems to be the same size, but comes with different style controller. this one shown in the video is model name F06 ? twice as expensive compare to previous 2, but is it bigger?

In the RC Hobby the most simply to fly item is a GPS Camera drone. An RC plane is more difficult to fly. An FPV Drone is even more difficult to fly and an RC helicopter with no stability is the most difficult of all.

Cpt Drone....Appreciate the video on short notice. Is there an option to add a larger battery, for longer flight time? If I'm spending in upwards of 240.00 for this RC copter, I'm going to need to get more than 8 - 10 mn of flight time out of it.

The batteries are smart batteries designed for this heli, so other batteries would not work.

It is one of many for the simple reason it is designed for beginners. If you can fly a typical beginner drone you can fly this.

I've been searching online for someone to help me connect 5.8G fpv goggles to a E88 max drone and won't connect what so ever , and then i bought a different drone and still won't connect to a 40 channel goggles , so i ordered another pair of different goggles and it's going to take two weeks to get them . maybe you can give me some advice on different goggles and which drones i can use it on . and plus I'm subscribing to you channel you have great review's on drones and other things what to know where to fly my drones.

FPV analog goggles work with analog VTX. You should get a clear image or one with snow. If you don’t then it could be your antennas in either the drone or goggles (or both) that are the issue.

Does this one allow to disable altitude hold, like the Esky 150 or can only the optical flow be disabled?

And possibly even be interesting for more advanced pilots, who just want a nice looking brushless scale heli for some flying. Now it's pretty expensive for a pure beginner heli, that can't really grow with the pilot's skill, right?

@@rc-fannl7364 The drone itself can do 3D, but it requires reprogramming which is something a beginner can’t do. All of these type of helis come on the market and then eventually advanced users bind them to their RC radios and then reprogram them. You’ll probably see such videos (not by me) in a few months.

@@rc-fannl7364 Yes, with a bit more then that (i.e., firmware may need upgrading). Just do a search for similar existing helicopters that have come out in the past years like the BLACK HAWK and the COAST GUARD and you may find videos where people have turned them from 6G to 3D.

Nice I want one depending on the price I don't mind paying more money for larger scale helicopters it's the smaller ones that kind of get to me that cost more money I have one helicopter I paid $120 for it's very tiny and I am questioning my purchase for what I bought it's not what I expected for the money it doesn't even have Optical flow you win some you lose some LOL it's all part of the game again your videos are awesome it kind of makes you feel like you're standing in the field with you the way you got your camera set up you got a drone flying around pretty awesome dude looking forward sing more products reviewed and I got to say when you get products without directions you catch on pretty quick now that's what I call a perfect reviewer someone that has some common sense basically you have to have a mind like the developer who invented the product make things easier

@@chevyriding4646 Are you living under a rock, or have nothing to do with RC flying stuff? Over 250 grams, you have a lot of restrictions in many countries worldwide, and in the US, after September, you have to have RemoteID installed. Google it, it's horrible for the hobby.

How about major SPORTS figures? Now, if you live in your parents basement and get your food and clothing and shelter for FREE for doing absolutly nothing in return, then that is a good deal. But for everyone else in the world, nothing is FREE.

An all brushless motors heli is good but having a tail rotor prop blade twice the size of the tiny hole that it is supposed to be blowing air through seems particularly brainless! 😱🙄

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 We are probably missing each other's points there Steve. I am familiar with the current crop of powerful little brushless motors for sub-250gm planes (and helis.) My point was the dumb inefficiency of the ratio of the prop size to the hole that it is trying to blow the tail torque-cancelling air through. Like bolting a Rolls Royce jet engine to a concrete wall and drilling a pin hole in the wall to transmit the jet blast through! A multi-bladed small diameter fan mounted directly INSIDE the duct would have made more sense - and looked more scale. 😉
