Thank you for the reminder to always express our appreciation to our loved ones. As a teen I loved classical music (not opera) and rock, but gradually moved away from the classical. Now that I'm aging, I am rediscovering it. The perpetually cloudy skies of SE Michigan cleared for an hour or so in the correct aurora viewing window, but there were far too many city lights for me to see anything. Seahawk fan back here again, Eagle! Dimash was in Budapest preparing for an upcoming concert when the legendary Domingo approached him and told him that his grandson had introduced him to Dimash and that he would like to do a duet with him. Dimash was so honored and relayed to Domingo that when he was a young child, he had a tape of Placido Domingo music and that he had fantasized about doing such a duet. Dream come true!

💥🗣️ His Mother tells the story how Placido was his hero as a little boy and his Father brought home an 8 track, had to be forced to stop listening. Said he pulled all his cassettes around in a little wagon and slept with them in a shoebox. What a thrill, this.

Thank you! My father also loved classical music and I was raised listening to opera on LPs. I did not get introduced to pop music until high school. Dimash is music. As such he has made me love genres I never liked before such as rap or metal. I see he has done the opposite for others. Made them love opera! ❤❤❤
