Fun facts: The last time the Eagles beat the Chiefs, Andy Reid was the coach of the Eagles and that game was Shady's first NFL start and he scored his first NFL touchdown in it.

@@urfavoritebarber2573 that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard… Every single GM makes mistakes from time to time. Especially in the NFL when you have a 53 man roster to manage, not 15 like the NBA. Bill Belichick has 8 SB’s, and makes terrible roster decisions all the time. Jalen Hurts wouldn’t even be on the Eagles roster if it wasn’t for Howie Roseman. That decision received tons of criticism, but he made the pick anyway, and 3 years later his teams in the SB.

@@urfavoritebarber2573 bad take. What makes howie great is he’s amazing at moving money. There’s nobody who is better with contracts in the nfl than Howie Roseman. He can create cap and get draft picks from other teams like it’s nothing. He has an insane executive mind whenever it comes to freeing up the cap. He had a bad draft record; but many of those picks were bc Lurie influenced him to get what he thought the team needed. Lurie finally stepped down and gave Howie full control of team operations this offseason and look what happens. He is great at getting young talent, finding QBs and he deserves all the praise for listening to the fans criticisms. He finally addressed the linebacker position and secondary in general. The moves he made weren’t insane but flat out efficient and genius. Getting CJ and Bradberry for barely anything was a difference maker. Even getting Blankenship when CJ went down was a smart move. He understands adding depth in a money ball kinda way. You don’t need the best players at the position to make a championship team. But you can get very good players on decent contracts and win the executive way. That’s what Howie does. He plays money ball and we love him for it.

It is one of best interviews that I've seen with Howie Roseman. Like three friends are just talking. I'm so glad that I'm an Eagles fan and I could see all of them at their job. Shady way amazing, Acho was a good LB and special teamer and Howie is Howie. But it's crazy that they are talking about Coach Reid, Coach Pederson and Coach Sirianni but nobody is saying a word about Coach Kelly. But we all knew when they were thinking about him how he traded Shady in 2015 and destroyed the locker room.

We are very tough here in Philly…and plenty of us have had our doubts as far Howie goes, and Jalen too…but we also have no problem saying we were wrong to doubt them and are thrilled to have them performing at the elite level they are!!

Yeah, some did because they thought he made a few of those bad picks, but it looks like Lurie was meddling and Howie took back final decision in 2021.

Funny how nobody said the chiefs would unravel when they had their first loss. It’s also funny how other starting qbs played terrible or not on the level as hurts but got excuses and blame thrown on receivers and coaching but hurts got all the criticism. It’s refreshing to see howie didn’t buy into the media bs
