It's a 1200w peak hub motor. That's probably about it. Cool thing about this bike is the battery capacity imo.

I've got the 3000w one, and yes, you're correct. It can go 43mph throttle only up a slight incline.

@clippedmayhem1088 I have a 2000w 20 inch hub motor. It does heat up and the hub sinks don't fit on them which is a bummer. I can still open it up and apply statorade. To help dissipate heat. But the biggest drawback is my battery. It's a 52v molicel p45b. But the 13.5ah capacity is Hella ass. Like it eats through it and regret not saving up a bit more and get a top of the line 72v 25ah and greater. Damn man

I built my own ebike as well and it can do 45mph. Except I do have pedals but no chain. I kinda just said fuck it and removed the chain. Should I be tricking people into thinking that I pedal my bike as well? Nah I mainly throttle only. I removed the chain so now I don't have to lie to myself and anyone else.

What’s the max range for you? I’m planning to get a e-bike here in the next couple of months, and then plan to ride it from San Diego to Portland… I’ll purchase extra batteries regardless of what bike I get and just saw this one… I’ll be pulling a small single track trailer with supplies, plus my pug who’s only 12 pounds… any help would be great! Thanks!

Bro I had this same exact issue with the Aniioki A8 pro max bike. They must use the same controllers because they told me they were still trying to figure out why their new controllers they got from their suppliers had this issue. This was the SECOND controller they sent me that had this issue. The one that originally came with it was the opposite problem. The light wouldn’t come on. That’s disappointing because I wanted the pro version of this bike but if it uses that same controller where the light doesn’t shut off I’m not sure I want it now.

@JerseyStyle7 at the price point of romeo you can keep the same battery size in capacity but bump up twice to 60 volts iirc. Cool/unique bike tho. I like it but I like the Juliette for the value and thats the one I'd get.
