Sure this can help, but we all know that a company's hiring team controls who gets hired and who doesn't. Also your competition is always fierce. You're always up against 155 or more applicants for a position. Resume writers, recruiters, and job search advisors are thriving. Best way to get a job is know someone who has power to get you in. Or just start your own business. If you didn't get hired, you'll never know why and you won't know where to begin to fix the problem.

Hey Alux, will you please consider doing a video on volunteering and it can impact employment opportunities in a positive way. I'm 30 years old, never held a single paying job. How giving your time is valuable in learning many skills, engaging in your local community, and has a higher chance of leading to employment with better pay. A great way for youth to get their hands on some basic skills before heading into the workforce. Giving your time is more valuable than getting paid in my opinion. It can test you on strengths and weaknesses in so many areas. Allows flexibility and creativitiy as well. Do a video on volunteering. Thanks.

Hello Alux, Thank you so much for sharing this, its helpful to know the employers' point of view during the interview. However for lesson #7, may I ask if its ok for the employers to know that the candidate has their own personal goals that we are happy with out career but we want struggle to achieve our own definition of success such as making a busines. By informing the employer of this, will it deter or discourage the employer in considering the candidate?

I think this is how should be if the world would be perfect. But... I live in Lithuania and here is something different. For example you are not wellcome if you are too smart. Companies are trying to get rid of skilled and smart employees because its better to have unskilled shitheads for two reasons: 1. Low probability that this kind of worker without experience will ask for a bigger salary. 2. This kind of worker is too dumb enough to understand how he is being cheated with money. So in conclusion: Lithuania's employers does not like smart, intelligent people. They wellcome lower mentality, no questions asking employees. Every institution in this country is full of unskilled workers.

I learned Media and graphicdesign but completly lost interest in it, I did alot of tinkering and 3d printing as a Hobby but now got a good job as a repair- and maintenance technician in 3d printing. The job interview was quite good since both the Hr-Manager and I talked business and as highly skilled workers in the field. The company was impressed with me and that landed me the job. So glad I listened to my feelings and didnt go with Media.
