For those who are new to my channel, you guys won't know that I can't sing. I never said I could sing and personally, I think I have a horrible voice for singing so need to point that out. So why did I host a karaoke night? I know singing is a HUGE part of your culture, and while I would normally avoid a karaoke bar, I wanted to experience more of what makes you happy. Plus it was another opportunity to meet more of you. For me, this was all about having fun, despite how much I cringe at myself watching this back! I was nervous I won't lie, but hopefully it'll put a smile on your face 😆

I don't see any reason why you should regret posting this. You can actually sing! If only I lived near manila, i would have joined you guys in the karaoke night. I feel so envy now. Haha thanks. Yeh I'm up for having fun even if karaoke isn't my thing. Though if I keep on receiving comments of support I might do some more singing...and choose better songs that are more suited to my voice than Aerosmith lol.

It's kind of funny that everyone's eagerly and attentively waiting for your reaction to the food you were about to eat as if they were attending a conference where some big breaking news / development is to be announced lol... The bagoong (shrimp paste) really is somewhat an acquired taste. It's like wasabi where you'd have to try it enough times to get past a point where you transition from finding it abhorring to actually liking it. :)

behind the scenes. we all low-key panicked trying to figure out how to explain a certain food in english and did like a 3 minute research. 😂 also a general ice breaker question for everyone while waiting for you was "Has he met Regine yet?" or "How about Mori?" "Really? that's awesome!"

Dan we have the same taste of Music. I'm also 29 years old and i love 70's and 80's music (influenced by my parents and uncles). You can sing Dan (though not as a pro) but atleast pleasing to the ears.

If you sing a lot you will definitely improve later on.... I myself dont sing before but when my cousin introduced me to music (my cousin is a karaoke warrior, he can sing for hours without losing his voice), i fell in love with music and now after 3 yrs. i can proudly say that I improved a lot. Not in a professional level but enough to impress a few people lol! You should buy a karaoke machine and start singing on your spare time. It can also be handy on some parties!

actually a great singer comes out not only on how the way you sing it, it should be on perfect rhyming and tune... as long as you're not out of tune you are good.. So hearing you singing is a bit compliment of what you doing.. you're amazingly a good singer...

I don't sing before but when my friend told me that i should sing because other people that sing in the karaoke are worst than i am but still they sing. Now i sing in karaoke and don't care if I'm not in tune. You have a good voice compared to other karaoke singers. Keep it up buddy.cheers!

I think I sang that enough this trip lol. Plus I always sing it in a lower key in preparation for the bigger notes. Karaoke would be in the normal key so I'd really struggle with the song big time
