I got mine at launch & I’ve enjoyed using them since. I wish the ANC & ambient modes both were a little stronger but the recent firmware update did improve those areas. Hopefully more improvements to come in the near future. I have zero complaints with anything else…. Great content like always💯👍

I've had the earfun free pro 2 for six months now and its been great so far. ANC, connectivity and calls are great. The lack of app is the only con and I'm glad they provided one for this.

The app kind of changes everything. See the updated ANC on the FP3, it makes a difference

and i did sleep in these as well, no complaints here. they fell out, but having the app to find them is a good touch too.

Another solid job reviewing, I'm impressed with your ability to deliver important details in a very concise and interesting manner. Keep up the great work, you convinced me to buy these earbuds. I had 2 generation and really love the way they fit comfortably. I have so much trouble finding earbuds that won't fall out of my ears and the ear fun does a great job of making comfortable lightweight high performance earbuds

Thank you for mentioning the sleeping with the earbuds. I have pretty horrible insomnia sometimes and so I tend to try to sleep with my earbuds often. Ty!

Great review. Thanks very much for the detailed comments and for the time you have put into the video. I have the original Earfun Air Pro and I was delighted when I got them. Like you with the Pro 3 buds, for me they are a touch too bassy, as I listen to quite a lot of classical music. But having said that I don't find that bass corrupts the quality of the other frequencies and instruments and voices sound excellent. If you have reviewed the original Air Pro buds I would love to know how you feel they compare. Thanks again for such a professional review.

I had these briefly, but my pair suffered intermittent connectivity issues. I returned them.

I have hade mine for two weeks and also starting to get connectivity issues. Im dissapointed. The Free Pro 2 worked perfectly for almost two years. After 1,5 year the right earbud did not connect sometimes when i took them out of the case. But i just put tem back in the case, closed, opened and they connected fine. All earbuds i have had (i have had many :P ) have started to have issues after 1-1,5 years but never in the first weeks....

Hey man, love your videos and keep up the great work! Don't you feel like the Earfun Free Pro 2 has a better Ambient Mode? I feel like the Ambient Mode in the Earfun Free Pro 3 is slightly lower in volume and the right earbud is a bit more muffled compared to the left one. I had zero complaints with the EFP2 model.

With the update now the ambient mode is okay but still far from natural or neutral with quite some hiss. I don't hear much of a difference between left and right though. If you prefer a more intense and amplified ambient sound then the FP2 is definitely better. But then wind noise is handled better on the FP3. So it's complicated 😊

I still like the Free Pro 2 in some ways compared to the Free Pro 3. The app is probably the best thing to me. Otherwise the ANC is somwhat comparable, and I prefer Transparency mode on Free Pro 2.

Another great review! Have you tried the pretty new (End of August) Soundgear Sense by JBL? And if yes, what so you think of them verses other open-ear earbuds and vs the Endurance Peak 3?

Thanks for mentioning the eq to increase the mids and highs. Some reviewers do not mention that. Would you consider the sound as good as the previous 2 versions after using eq?

EQing can make the frequency range more balanced but it will not open up the sound that much if you know what I mean

I just got mine a few hours ago. I was disappointed with the Ambience. it's just like normal, I barely hear external noises. I also updated it, but still no good. Free 2 Pro has better ambiance mode.

Would you recommend them for running long distances outside? Or is there another earbud in the same price point that is better?

I did a 10K+ run with these, no issues whatsoever. However I found the Jabra Elite 4 (and the Sony WF-C700) a bit more snug but these are absolutely fine for long runs and cheaper too.

4:44 Hey Andy, I just want to ask if you have any recommendations for wireless earbuds under $100 with good/decent mic/call quality? I have the Sennheiser Momentum TWS 3 as my daily but the mic quality is quite underwhelming. I'm currently deciding between the Earfün Free Pro 3 and maybe the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC. You get the AAC codec on an iPhone with a bitrate of up to 320Kbps at a sampling rate of 44.1kHz and bit depth of up to 24-bit I believe

If all you want is bass, get the Earfun, for a more sophisticated and balanced sound get the Opera05, the fit is secure enough for casual every day use
